Munster deny this - and say so what if they did anyway.
As anyone from munster will tell you, "public transport" doesn't exactly cover the area :D

Gerry was reluctant to be arbiter of Ennis as accused.

But because it was his wedding anniversary that weekend.

    Gerry - "I didn't forge Andrew's signature"
Paul - "nobody's accusing you of forgery"
Gerry - "yes they did - Pat accused me in writing!:
    Paul - "Ah, yeah, yeah"

    You couldn't make it up

    Colm talking now

Whilst Daly is a hindrance to getting things done on an executive because of the tangents he goes down, he is generally entertaining. Hope he is on form today.

The discarded motions being returned to now - specifically the mcu no confidence motion.

Refused as it's an icu meeting and an mcu report

    Alex talking now.

Pointing out boards had no personal attacks - just attacks on actions. Colm laughed.

Move to elections after this it looks like.

Alex quoting daly's website and some comments on it.

Daly defending everything he's written - but in a personal capacity.

Paul Cassidy surprising me in his ignorance. General feeling is the meeting see through this on balance

John Delaney nominated as an independent vote scrutineer. Results by 2:15 it seems.

    How will it go?

Not sure. The new exec seem to have more support from the floor, but hard to tell if that'll transpire to a majority

John mcmorrow just pointed out the ballot papers have his team's names in smaller font than the current exec

Must be a record season for the amount of tournament cancellations.

    Reconvening now.

Not as many people in attendance as before the break!

Reckon about 130 votes cast all told. So still counting. Six elections would mean 780 votes to count

    Chris Sheridan resigns as treasurer

Is this a brand new exec?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,170 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

    John Kelly nominated as Secretary
    Shane sheedy nominated as treasurer

Those and the other unopposed officers all elected without a vote

Only Andrew kildea keeps his place.

The only motion was carried - agm to be between July and August

Nice to see the Treasurer getting the support of the members and bowing out of his own volition. Speaking as one who held the post before it is a truly thankless task that involves much more work that meets the eye.

Isn't he the guy who wrote that really appalling and highly erroneous report about IM Orr? Surely he should retire to the wood pushing ranks and leave other people to run the show.
