Kicker has to get on the field faster than that or call a timeout.

Can't rush a kick like that.

    Wow! What an awful attempt.

Eagles looked nailed on to get a TD there, pass might've been the play on third down given how accurate Bradford has been. The offense has been so good this half that if they had to go 20 yards for the first down it looks like it would be no issue (obviously it's something they've had to do with all the penalties).

New rule, never ever get excited by pre season. :P
If I recall the Lions went 0-4 in the preseason in 2008... before going 0-16 in the regular season. Best example there could be! :D

Why give it to Matthews on 3rd instead of Murray... crazy stuff from the coaching staff tonight.

This is a fantastically entertaining awful game.

Inside the 5 you let it bounce there.

    Come on EAGLES!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

And the first half Eagles return.

Eh, wrong way round. Lions went 4-0 in the preseason before going winless during the regular season.

Credit the Falcons tonight though. Just managed to scrape the win.

That Eagles team is going nowhere this season.
They have a decent amount of talent but no capacity to handle pressure whatsoever.
Well done to the Falcons for finishing that out, they looked at times like they'd fall apart.

Hardly finished it out now, Parkey and Matthews made silly errors at key moments. Still, lots to be proud of in that second half.

Morning Folks. Looks like I've won my fantasy matchup by 1 point. Opponent had Roddy White and Matt Bryant tonight but came up short. I got 30 points out of my kicker and defense yesterday which made the difference.

WTF? Gamepass miss the start of the game?

Those jerseys are horrible, loving Carlos Hyde.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

49ers offense looking great. Roster is still perfectly good on that side of the ball.

Offensive line was the big worry, especially on the right side of the line with Pears/Devey/Martin at RT/RG/Centre

Yep god the Jerseys are muck. Positive drive so far

    FFS. That's horrible.

    Excellent defense from the 49ers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,208 ✭✭✭shotgunmcos

    Interesting opening. Great D

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,208 ✭✭✭shotgunmcos

    Reggie limped off
Wonder if that means Hayne will get a shot?!

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Hayne fumbles his first touch. 49ers dominant but not getting any return from it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 100 ✭✭Diarmuid1995

Not an ideal start for jarryd hayne after all the hype after his preseason.
    Hectic game so far

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    What an eventful 0-0.

    Peterson doing nothing
Not sure why bush got that carry on third and short in the first place.

Hayne trying to be a bit of a hero, should have been a fair catch.

Good stop there on 4th down.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,208 ✭✭✭shotgunmcos

Very unimpressed how Bush did not attack that 3rd and 1
Jesus Hayne. He can probably count how many balls he dropped in his career but that one will rank up there!!

Interesting take on the game from the aussie guardian.
    Some entertaining observations
