    Dublin are 1

Mayo and Kerry are 2 and 3, with very little between them.

Galway and Tyrone have a lot to prove to be considered.
    Galway especially,
He wishes mayo well sure ...........he straight in here after if we lose

I won't be straight in here after Mayo lose.as a Galway man I'd love if Mayo and Galway advance and if the draws were kind could meet in Dublin for another show down.could put the whole croke park not suiting Galway thing to bed for some people.i was only on here yesterday offering you parking advice when you asked.

He is on my ignore list from a long time back so thankfully can't see latest one. Only seen first one as it was quoted. He came in after every defeat\draw over the past2 years taking the p and he should not be saying otherwise

    Glorious day here in Ennis!

They are 4/1 for good reason.

They are a middle of the road 2nd division team up against one of the top three.

They have beaten no one, apart from a very vulnerable Roscommon 12 months ago.

They gave Kerry a bit of a run for their money but we're never going to win, just like Sligo v Mayo.

They only beat Limerick by a point

They hammered a bad and 14 man Laois.

Mayo should be never in doubt in this game.

But we know that won't happen, Mayo will win but will also have us scratching our heads for another 2 weeks.

4/1 might look like good odds but it's money down the drain.

A similar review could have been done before the normal time draw to Derry.

In a pure gambling sense, I think 4/1 offers some value.

But you would have lost your money on the Derry game too.

No matter what the result today.... a tribute to David Clarke. He's making his 100th Mayo appearance. Been an absolute colossal figure for us for over a decade and in my opinion will go down a real Mayo great. Congratulations David and best of luck.

Ennis is a great town for a match on a day like today.

In a gambling sense, the only discussion should be about value imo. I wouldn't be "expecting" a 4/1 shot (that I see value in) to win. I would be expecting it to win 1 in 4 times... giving profit.

Mayo to win by 4 :)

Not being smart but if you're ranking Mayo in the top 3 teams in the country who are you ranking at numbers 2 and 1.are Galway in there considering they beat Mayo 2 years in a row both home and away.

That win this year came against mayo who had 14 men for 4 5mins.
But for an obscene open goal miss. ......

Just a wee bit of advice: Dublin or kerry will destroy that backline, Tyrone too.

But ye are definitely the 3rd best team in the country for sure without winning a semi final in how long? ??

Or a quarter final, or even a 4th round qualifier in Croke Park.

I think we should stop replying to this fella, he's obviously got some gripe with Mayo or some Mayo person urinated in his corn flakes before or something. There is no reasoning with this individual. I call for a complete ignore of casscass on this thread?

All in agreement raise your hand.

Apologies mods if this is excessive or a very mean thing for me to have suggested but he's constantly derailing what's actually one of the best threads on the site for discussion and conversation.

Would have been good for aiden to start in the middle and then moving forward if seamus needs to come on.
And as a lad said above Crowe/Coen to start in CB as Gary brennan will be making powerful runs down the middle.

I like the team but let's hope Reagan sees more then 15/20 mins of gene time. He has the ability but it's now a confidence thing.

One thing you can be garunteed going to Ennis is you will be stuck in traffic, and you will be getting in a good walk from where eventually park the car.

Veer off the motorway at the Tulla roundabout. Lots of parking on the way into central Ennis on that R352 road. Allow 20 mins to walk to Park.

Just watch out for the double yellow lines, somebody from Clare in another thread said the Gardai clean up on match days.

Based on your prediction I'm guessing the value would be found in backing Clare to beat the handicap (+5).

    Parsons is a big loss

He is togged and doing a full warm up

There is no predicting Rochford s teams
As said before I think sometimes he is too smart for his own good but I'm hoping today is not one of those days
I thought he would keep Andy for last 20 though

On tv, they said he 'wasn't feeling well'.

I don't think even Rochford would think it's a good idea to drop parsons!

Higgins to go in to the forward line

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,545 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

That was idiotic from Donie. At this stage of the match a goal wouldn't have done that much damage, not worth the punishment for what he's after doing.
