It would say that Mayo are still better than Roscommon, who haven't beaten us in 16 years in the championship, and for 10 before that 😂

Round 3A of the qualifiers sees Mayo face Clare for the first time in championship football as the two teams clash in Cusack Park,Ennis tomorrow evening.

Following an extra time win over Derry in Elvery's MacHale Park last Saturday,manager Stephen Rochford makes three changes to his starting team from that win.Seamus O'Shea starts in place of the suspended Paddy Durcan,with Donal Vaughan moving to the half backs.Two time GAA/GPA Young Player of the Year Diarmuid O'Connor replaces Stephen Coen,while goal scorer from last weekend Conor Loftus replaces Andy Moran in the full forward line.

This weekend will be goalkeeper David Clarke's 100th Mayo appearance(64 league,36 championship),he made his championship debut in 2005 against Roscommon.

Solid team.

They are 4/1 for good reason.

They are a middle of the road 2nd division team up against one of the top three.

They have beaten no one, apart from a very vulnerable Roscommon 12 months ago.

They gave Kerry a bit of a run for their money but we're never going to win, just like Sligo v Mayo.

They only beat Limerick by a point

They hammered a bad and 14 man Laois.

Mayo should be never in doubt in this game.

But we know that won't happen, Mayo will win but will also have us scratching our heads for another 2 weeks.

4/1 might look like good odds but it's money down the drain.

Not being smart but if you're ranking Mayo in the top 3 teams in the country who are you ranking at numbers 2 and 1.are Galway in there considering they beat Mayo 2 years in a row both home and away.
I wish Mayo well today but they will have to step up a lot since the Derry game and I wouldn't be too fast writing off Clare playing at home.to be fair Mayo were lucky to come out on top against an average Derry team whose keeper was beyond suspect with butterfingers moments and a disastrous kick out strategy.overall should be an interesting weekend in football
