The only cycling specific jersey I own and use occasionally when cycling is a yellow jersey from the 2009 TDF. Would it be overkill if the second jersey I buy to use regularly is a rainbow world champions jersey???

Disclaimer: I am a 32 year old IT person in the lower half of strava times.

    Are you a world champion?

Sadly I know. I was just a bit jealous of all the praise he got. :(

Well once you alter the jersey to make that clear you should be fine!

What club has red and white striped jerseys with the 'Winsor' logo on them? (Possibly a charity ride jersey). Saw two large groups in Donabate and Portrane around 1.30pm today wearing them.

decided that my jockey wheels needed a bit of lube, so decided to do it out the back earlier. had forgotten how much tension was in the spring, so ended up with the jockey wheel and its various components going four different ways as undid the bolt. i must have looked a bit manic to the neighbours, crawling around the back garden for five minutes.

Anyone know about a proposal for a greenway linking Donnybrook to Kimmage, by way of Terenure, Rathgar, Rathmines and Milltown? Any advance on this?

Update: Cllr Paddy Smyth says feasibility report is due soon.

AnnaLise is great. Such simple uncomplicated joy at winning that medal. Mighty girl. She looked like a goddess waving that huge flag coming into Dun Laoghaire yesterday on the news.

my claim to fame was racing her up cruagh road, 2 weeks before we went to London, mentioned in passing she would be going to london in 2 weeks

There's a Nag's Head in Ireland? Isn't that the pub the Rodney and Del Boy frequented?
It's a place, not a pub (a few kms north of Ballboughal and often frequented by the Boardsies of NCD.

Was marshalling with the vets in Monasterevin this morning and we had 4 of 5 large club spins pass. One of them was complete with a lead car and broomwagon:eek:

Apropos of nothing I have to say there're some crazy potholes/sinkholes on the Santry - Cloghran/Airport road in Dublin. I came in from the airport side yesterday and counted three that would easily upskuttle an unwary cyclist, either in the lane or where there should be one. One would have swallowed a third of a wheel, no joking.

I think they had a social sat night, so thought it might have been a bit early in the morning to see them.

My bike is still in the office and no tyres arrived today so it'll be tomorrow before I'm back on the road.
I got a right earful today from IT for leaving the bike locked in the comms room over the weekend but fecked if it was staying in the car park and I had to keep it out of sight in the office :P

Nice. A very quiet 374 watts as I didn't hear you over my own heavy breathing... not that type, the exertion type... not that type of exertion...

Anyway, it was a lovely day for it. The cycle I mean.
