    Looking at some other quotes here, I don't know how im getting it so cheap.

    So my Insurance was € 378 last year.

    Just got my renewal letter this year and its € 583..........thats a fookin ridiculous hike, ive had no accidents in the year, I have the points for 2 years so nothing has changed ...........except the car value has gone down and my NCB has gone up

    Same here, was 520, turned 25 during the policy and all and the cheapest I can get is 745. Some hike, haven't paid that since I was 21 or 22.

    Mine went up 60 on a 323i, ring around men or even lie about a cheaper quote, they may match it.

    I have done, rang every company under the sun at this stage, most coming in 1k plus! Also loads saying its a big engine, it's a 1.8t a3 for gods sake how is that a big engine!!

    It isn't. We're bate into eejits in this country. I know plenty people who recoil in horror at the prospect of an instatiable torque-monster like a 1.6. :pac:

    For all the complaining that alot of people are doing on here about the price of their insurance, the above prices are not too bad and would be in line with what I would expect people to pay given the various vehicle types.

    The only one thats probably getting a bit of a raw deal is Alanstrainor.
