The scene in Terminator 2 when the T 1000 walks through the bars and Dr Silberman drops the lid from the syringe in his mouth.

    The diner scene in Heat,
    Your go.....

Think that is a little overrated tbh. However the shotout scene is still awesome.

I came here to post the same thing. Amazingly powerful on its own but heart-wrenching too when you come to the of the movie.

Some powerful scenes like that along with funny scenes. For example, when John Candy is sitting alone by himself in the train station, his wife dead for years, Steve Martin realising something isn't right and goes back to find John Candy sitting alone.

The funny scene, when both of them are sitting on the highway with their car burning. Steve Martin giving out to the lady at the airport - (I want a f*cking car, right f*cking now) - before getting lifted up by the balls from some hefty man he was giving out to.

I've... seen things... you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion; I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate... All those... moments... will be lost, in time, like tears... in... rain. Time... to die.

Not a film but the drugs hold up scene in True Detective season 1.

When Rust met Dewall in the next episode was a great scene as well. There was an intensity in Dewall that was quite memorable.

The last scene in the Shawshank Redemption. I get moist eyed every single time.

The helicopter scene is still one of my favourite scenes of all time.

Awesome, edge of the seat scene.

The fact that this was done in a single take makes it all the more breath taking.

I've always loved this scene from Serenity -

(it's near the end, so don't watch it if you don't want it to be spoiled)

Awesome, edge of the seat scene.

    Love that scene.

It took two brilliant actors to make it. Obviously, Bardem will get all the plaudits but the old guy behind the counter was at least equally excellent. Love how he plays it: this slow realisation that he is dealing with a total lunatic and the mounting sense of bemused terror.

True Romance - Dennis Hopper schooling Christopher Walken on the history of his ancestors in Sicily knowing exactly what was about to happen to him. Great scene.

I also love the final scene in Before Sunset:

"Baby, you're going to miss that plane"

    "I know."
