Having a great week for TV. The icing on the cake would be Targett to rise before the weekend, which looks a reasonable bet (currently 91%).

Ah crap. On the beer in Killarney and had nearly given in to the idea of getting Martial after the LC games, but just after realising its feckin 4am an i missed the price rises by 2 hrs.

My thoughts exactly. Didn't see him rising last night!

Had too many doubts (Silva, Benteke, Gomez and even Darmian to be pulling the trigger early anyway)

Same here. Diouf, Silva, Darmian and Gomez. I'll probably get Martial in but I have to wait and see who's going to be fit or not. Tbh, I don't mind missing the price rises much as long as I make the right transfers.

Well, both fplststs and FFS got that 3rd rise miles wrong. Neither had him anywhere near rising last night. I would have gotten him in yesterday if I thought there was even a chance of him rising. Now it's gonna be more difficult :mad:

Martial was precisely at 72.5% with a 4.38%/hour rising rate at 1:30 am French time last night. I know it because I left Mozilla opened on my laptop before putting it in sleeping mode and I had downloaded a sports podcast at 1:32

Price changes occur between 3 & 3:30 am French time so assuming Martial rising rate stayed about teh same until price changing time, they were about 20% off. They actually state they got it 77.7% right

It's a strange one. Does it mean they got the third rise threshold wrong? Or accounted for too many WC?

Another rule change from FPL this season. Threshold for third rise has come down. Good news for those wanting high team value

Bench fodder 4.5m midfielders

With the popularity of the 5 man mid there appears to be only 2 starting players(Westwood and Drinkwater) who are in no danger of a price drop.
I had a quick scan through the fplstatistics site and of the approx. 37 now 4.4m priced midfielders 32 are trending down to 4.3m some quite quickly.

Westwood is trending down now as well. Another of the reasons I'm probably going to strong front 8 this GW, bench fodder 5th mid can wait until a good one emerges/heavy hitters find form

Wessi has to be pretty much the best of the "cheap" midfielders.

5.1, playing in an advanced position and getting a hefty amount of gametime
