He won't fit in in RTE with that attitude; Eoin McDermott will be over to lecture him at 10am

Jaysus, Ronan Collins really sounds broken up. :(

RIP Larry, by all accounts one of the good guys and a true gentleman.

That’s the quickest Tubridy got tears out of anybody.

"And you have come on here and you have expressed honestly how you feel and there is nothing wrong with shedding a tear and.."

Fair play to Tubridy for providing commentary on Ronan's interview. He's just too awkward in these moments.

Never heard RC so emotional, not when Gay ,Brendan GRyan or even his other pal Joe Dolan died.

    Who's Maria?

Giggling like schoolboys behind the bike shed.

    He can't help himself.

I got 10 right on just a minute.

My prize was a Nivea products hamper. The OH benefited more than I did.

    "I love weirdos"

Oh just shut up at this stage.

tuned in for 3 mins earlier and he was talking about how Marvel has him confused and commander Hatfield sitting outside waiting to come in, funny he mentioned the commander was sitting outside at 9 too ...so basically we could have had "irelands tinder date" Hatfield for a full hour!

    *Hadfield

Not to be confused with Tinker Hatfield, designer of (amongst other iconic sneakers) the Air Jordan III.

Operation Transformation, plug plug, is intriguing.

    Harry and Megan are intriguing.

One of his favourite phrases, "let me give you a little flavour of ..."

This roughly translates to "let me speak aimlessly about about whatever nonsense is in the gossip columns today".

Half way into his hour and all he has done is give his predictable opinions on Hollywood and the British royal family.

What a pointless waste of air time this show is.

Now to play a couple of songs, take a couple of ad breaks and interview someone from DWTS - then off to the cinema with Tubridy on a Thursday morning! It's a grand life!

“I couldn’t give a flying flute about the Royal Family.”

Says Ryan, after he spent fifteen minutes talking about the Royal Family.

And that's the whole point, isn't it? Aimlessly drifting, becalmed on an ocean of waffle. (My, I'm cranky today!)

Aimlessly drifting in an ocean of very handy money, lots of it.;)

Show starts at 9 ,doesn't actually start until @ 9.05 /6, waffles in for 20 mins reading the papers. Ad break 2 mind. It's now 9.30. Probably 4 more breaks @ 2 mins each, a guest from the canteen or a phone call ,hands over to the news @ 09.59.
    Rinse and repeat.
    ( I'm cranky every day :):) )

Yes, I suppose if you looked at it like a game of chess, where the clock is ticking when it's your move, and not when it's not, then on a € per minute basis he's on even more incredible money!
