    You didn’t have to know her personally to love her show, or the work she did, or the memories her voice encoded. So much of what passes for 2nd rate criticism on this forum is just cranks complaining about stuff.

    Cant say tbh. I didnt watch it,and I wont be watching tonight either. Its fookin sickening the blanket eulogising of dead rte'stars".
    I liked HB and MF,However they were both extremely well paid for very little actual work. Then you have their colleagues blowing smoke up their dead holes.
    Many many good honest and hardworking people have died with zero eulogisation. Its extremely cheap tv and radio.

    In fairness this is not something recent on the LLS. I personally can remember there being tribute shows to the likes of Maureen Potter as far back as the mid 1970s and I`m sure there were more before then too.
