Anyone's home button losing sensitivity?? Unlocking with finger print is fine, but just pressing home sometimes won't work at all. No buzz response either??

What's happening to me is my auto rotate doesn't work sometimes. If I restart the phone it comes back for a few days.

    Oxygen update available right now.

    Same here with auto rotate

Pain in the ass but the only fix seems to be restart.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,775 ✭✭✭✭MEGA BRO WOLF 5000

Did I have to drag down twice before from the top of the screen...? Once now.

Volume slider? Do you mean alert slider(on the left side of the phone)?

I thought he meant the volume slider that comes on screen when you change the volume.

I've never used the alert thing on the left.

I thought that too at first but dont see any difference. Not sure why he said drag down from the top and you said yes?

Yeah dragging down the top bar that gives you the quick access to the wifi, airplane mode, portrait/autorotate etc. That's coming down fully now on one pull unless you have a notification. I think it used to take two pulls to get it down the whole way.

That was always available on the OP2 though, once you dragged from the righthand side. I don't think it was well known, I just knew from using the OPO.

Anyone getting redirected after clicking links from Twitter/Facebook?

E.g. Clicking a link from Nike's Twitter (or any legit sites twitter/FB) and then go to load the legitimate link for a few seconds, then get redirected to a page saying
    Congratulations Android User!

Your "Phone brand & Model" has been randomly selected as one of the first customers for a chance to get the iPhone 6S

Press OK to participate and get exclusive rewards

I know this happened before for Three/Vodafone/Meteor/Eir customers on android and Apple devices. It was then sorted and seems to be back now!

Nope. I don't use facebook, but I use twitter and haven't seen that. It seems to be an adware problem on your phone I'd imagine.

You obviously downloaded the update from a 3rd party.

I stopped using cynogen as everytime I downloaded the gapps from different places it was always littered with adware.

    FB

Tried again at lunch and it seemed to be fine for links to Irish sites like The Independent or RTE but didn't get a chance to check others.

Seems to have happened to a good few of us - but thankfully, they replaced them fairly lively
