As I said earlier, you know you are getting old when you are agreeing with Joe. Whose idea was it to ban bedsits? Yes they were generally kips, but they were affordable.

They banned them and the next day we had a housing crisis.

It was in the FF/GP programme for government in 2007. Legislation was created in 2008 and the ban came in in 2013.

there's a lad from Dundalk picks people up outside Mosney and brings them to work every day, very reasonable rates as he said himself a few weeks back
