Um, I haven't really thought about that yet. I have heard that it is a good activity to take part in to develop skills etc. so I will maybe give it a go :)

Anyone I know in dcu that does it says its brilliant, and very useful for building key skills :)

I personally haven't really done much debating but its something I would like to try out :P

I have never done it before but from what my friend in UCD says it seems really fun and interesting, although I don't believe the DCU team is of the same standard as UCD/Trinity!

I would expect UCD and Trinity to have the fairly high standards, this might not always be good as people that have an interest but might not have developed the skills probably wouldn't get a good chance at it.... Or maybe I'm just talking SH*T :) :P

Anyway I'm happy enough if i get the chance to try it out :)

In UCD and Trinity they have tutors for it so it isn't like that I don't think, but DCU ftw ;)

I've heard it's really good but the security can be strict, not staying there though unfortunately!

I have a room booked :) hopefully there will be a fair amount of us there

For all of you looking for accommodation, your best bet is to hope to get on campus or all of you just rent a house together, there's enough of you and I'm sure you'll find cheap enough housing! Otherwise you could wait on cancellations for Shanowen Square/Halls and enquire about it :)
