A girl I know posts pics of her son AT LEAST once a day. She has ten photos of his first day of school taken from all angles around his school desk. You can see the other kids at their desks in the background and there's not one other parent in the room. The poor kid must be mortified, never mind the psychological problems he'll have from being forced to pose for photos multiple times a day.

A couple of months ago a FB friend vented about people complaining about her constantly talking about her baby on FB.

SATURDAY: Posts pic of a massive bouncy castle she has rented for the child's FIRST birthday party. Usual "preparing for their big day...." that is the way on FB

SUNDAY: Three separate posts about said child. Giving those eager to know updates on how the party is going, and reminding those who forgot that it's the child's birthday.

MONDAY: For some reason mentioned Xmas was only however many days away. Yey I can't wait to spoil -KIDS NAME- on her first "real" christmas

TODAY: Halloween train booked a month in advance. Poor -KIDS NAME- is too young for the pumpkin carving though

We get it. You have a kid. So many occasions to look forward to still: first walk, first words, first day in school......

People can sign you up for stuff now without you confirming or even knowing? Fcuk that. The only thing I ever joined on FB was the Mötorhead group. And only so my wall (not timeline, wall!) would read "Endacl has joined the group Mötorhead". I mean, I was never going to read that sentence in the music press. It was the only way.

Not to mention the 'fun' the teacher will have, probably having to supply a daily update of every twist and turn little Johnny did, not to mention the complaints if anyone looks sideways at him in the playground.

Can anyone translate the bolded bit? I can figure out the rest (more or less) despite the 'creative' spelling.

Friend posted standard first day at school photo.

One of the replies was

"time goes so fast you must be very proud".

I never realised my friend was solely responsible for the passage of time. Wonder if she controls gravity too?

Finally getting to bring LillyMoo [the pet cow?] to school after four 15 hour back to back gruellers [possibly working in the health care sector]. Seeing the Lollipop people has the memories flooding back! I'm so proud of my little girl.
