Hold on, is that an elaborate extension to the Convoy joke or is there genuinely a new Excite Truck coming out? Hot damn... All they need is to HD up the visuals and add in online and it would do the job - they could be done by lunchtime and fill a gap in the Summer schedule. Throw in the poker sub-games I never got to play on Excite Bot and some unnecessary Amiibo shenanigans for custom paint jobs and I'll be happier than a redneck punching Spider Mike while Dirty Lyle pretends not to notice.

Excite Truck was a stunning title that was easily as much fun as the Motorstorm series on the PS3, if not more so.
I must pick up 'Bots too, with a modded Wii it'll work just fine.

Nintendo's Earnings Release is tomorrow. I think we'll get some NX information. It probably won't be much but there's likely to be some tidbits.

As for NX, I'd say they'll have to talk about it in some capacity as it's usually after these that we see news of stocks going up or down based on the announcements. I remember reading about the share price increasing after the mobile involvement was talked about

The Wii's official name was announced 10 years ago to the day tomorrow. So NX's real name reveal tomorrow during the Earnings Release conference shouldn't come as a shock if it happens.

I quite like Miitomo, basically a social media portal.
You get out what you put in, don't think anyone was mis-sold on the app by Nintendo and I think it was more for enhancing the new Nintendo account system, and bringing in users of social media who may not already be Nintendo fans.

Well that could prove bad timing...hopefully missing the Christmas period won't affect sales and it'll still sell out initially, but I could definitely see it struggling if a revised PS4 and Xbox come out as strongly rumoured. If it does well at the start through existing fans, it could be in a strong position come Christmas 2017 depending on the line up of games.


Having said that, I'm 99% sure to be buying an NX at release.

Man, that's a bit of a strange decision. I know E3 isn't quite what it used to be but it's still the biggest showcase available between now and March. Hopefully this is just a bluff and they surprise everyone (unlikely seeing as this was an investor meeting but I can live in hope!).

They must have stuff to show at E3 then. Stuff they're reasonably confident in, confident enough to leave with no new consoles new, no hardware reveal, no playing Zelda till 2017. They're not gonna leave us ****ing barren for another year and another holiday season. Right?

Not good enough from Nintendo regarding Zelda being delayed again. Seriously couldn't have hampered the WiiU more the way they handled this Zelda launch.

Not impressed by these delays. Sure it'll look great for their following financial year but otherwise why? They mustn't be ready. There were rumours that if it was to launch this year that they'd only be able to manufacture enough for a Japan launch. This now allows for a worldwide launch. Still missing out on Christmas is a massive loss and God look at Wii U, it has like 2 games for the next year. So many missing franchises and now you need never even buy a Wii U to play Zelda U. It's possible that NX is the real name, sure why not, it's not bad.
