A little encouragement goes a long way... down in this case. :/

There was a man in Dublin on top of a building in Dame Street last summer threatening to jump and everyone was gathered around with their phones and cameras out to record it. I can understand it's a shocking thing and people can't help but stare out of curiosity but where's the need to record it? I just thought it was sick. Why would you want that memory recorded if the person did jump? Baffles me.
