Are my the only one thinking of sitting this out. It's just like the national and a number of them can take it.

Backed Chicago Grey & Rose of the Moon in the next. Taking a chance that both decide to have a going day today cause if they do they are both reasonably treated

Very sad to see what happened to Sprinter Sacre. I was worried about him all week but lumped on him hoping he could find some of his vintage form. Im wondering what exactly was the problem with him

Have to say nicholls is a much better trainer than Henderson in my opinion .
How many times year after year has nichols improved horses and kept them at that level.
When I think of hendersons horses they only seem to last a year or 2 and then there bottomed out.

The amount of top Henderson horses that get injured is unreal.
Very rare he has one that keep at a top level throughout their career.

Long Run, Binocular, Simonsig and Spirit Son are recent ones I can think of that got injured or form tailed off badly.

Have to question what his training methods are like at this stage imo.

Nicholls is different gravy to Henderson.

Cross country is always an enjoyable race, tenner on Charingworth for a bit of craic.

This is my favourite race of the festival, always a minefield. I've also gone with Charingworth, pinsticking as much as anything as I think you could make a decent case for at least half of these.

With the Manchester United team at Cheltenham, I guess some see a similarity between Sprinter Sacre and Falcao's form at the moment.
Once two of the greats in terms of what they did.

Id put Sprinter down as more of a Fernando Torres tbh

Hands up. Never in a month of Sundays could have predicted that. With Somersby so close you'd have to think it was a poor renewal. Sad to see SS & SDG so poor
The winner had decent form, he was only only rated a pound below Sire De Grugy, and Sprinter was hardly likely to be his old self. It was a bad omen for Sire's chances when a broken down horse like Sprinter was favourite. Champagne Fever really missed his chance today having beaten the winner last year, but the winner looked like he had a bit up his sleeve today.

What happened with Quantitativeasing and Toutancarmont? The guy on racing fm suggested he may have been distracted by a camera man?

Gutted. French horse came right across to carry Nina out.

What a spin she got all the way round, and she wasn't moving on him. No guarantees in racing obviously, but Nina would have got him close anyway.
