Yep! Its also tacked onto the exhaust with a sorta makeshift bracket so it wont entirely fall off

    It's a bloody disaster!

It looks like if you got that hung up better on the rubber things it would hold a while. Only a few few weeks on the current arb hanger system though! It will just bounce up and down and split the welds.

Accord seems to be going ok. Did a fairly long EU trip the other week in it with no problems.
It's still doing the rattling noise when accelerating that no one seems to know how to get rid of.
Getting to a point where I'm thinking of just accepting it.
But the seat rattle has stopped on it's own amazingly :D
Due a service soon including a nice expensive fuel filter from Honda.
Had the airbag inflator replaced as well as per recall.

Good to hear after the hassle you had. Hopefully rattle is just that. Heat sheild or something minor a bit loose.

The rattling is just the horsepowers galloping around the engine bay

Is anyone familiar with the N52 between Mullingar and Delvin? I was up that way at a funeral yesterday, and I have to say that particular stretch of immaculate Macadam is one of the best driving roads I've encountered in Ireland. Proper bit of twisty, be some howl on a FireBlade, bah!

Yeah it's local enough to me, that took a long time to get as the old section was notoriously bad and many people had died on that section. Fnantastic peice of road now though!

Yeah, my folks live just off it. Can be a lot of fun, if it's not littered with the local numpties in "SUVs" straddling the white line around blind bends because they're too dainty to turn the wheel properly.

No no, they're taking the Racing Line, innit! :pac:

Just put the golf on donedeal. Not even sure what I want to do but if I get a decent offer on it I will let it on if I don't I'll be keeping it definitely not letting it go for nothing just the sake of it so we will wait and see.

You must be really worried about the engine going pop:p

The pics in the advert have duplicated BTW. If I were you I'd take better quality ones too, although it looks clean and should sell.

Decent photos can be taken almost anywhere. One front, back, each side, tyre thread, interior and importantly on a van the load area.

To be honest I'm wary of ads with pictures taken in some random location to pretty up the ad.

Agreed, your selling the car at the end of the day. Photos with a plain background would probably be grand!

Christ that was quick....what do you plan on buying

I have a thread there probably a 1.4tsi 122 bhp golf if I can manage to get one. I also like the idea of a new model Megane they seem to go reasonably cheap but I'm just not sure about the engine whether they sorted injector pumps and the like by then.

I'm still open to suggestions. Tbh hunting for the new car is the bit I hate but I'll soldier along im not going to rush it but at the same time I can realistically only go so long without a car the mother will quickly get sick of dropping me to work.

Anyway if anyone has suggestions or links to either of the above two mentioned or something else it would be helpful I have a thread over in the buying section. Please help me I'm useless at searching :pac:

Finally traced the leak in the Jag, so hopefully that'll be sorted at the weekend or near enough that point of the week :D

I may get it tested, need a respectable and more importantly a non french electric weekend car :p

Just needs a few bits here and there :)

Which brings me to a silly question and has been answered before.... Who is a good crowd for classic insurance? I have at least 3 cars that qualify for classic (Jag, Merc and BMW). Already with AXA

    Any skangars ring ya ?

Always a good laugh when someone rings you offering you a bag of weed :p
