in non motoring news I've to go to the dentist I fear such things I'd rather break down on the m50

Strange as well cause if i keep a constant speed then no noise, accelerate and there it is.

That would make an unreal camper. I'd love to have the money/time/room to do a conversion on an old LWB. I picture any big van I see these days as a possible camper conversion :P

    Some day...

Get out of my head! I was just looking at that picture and thinking what a class camper it'd be in 10 years time

Ow... that could catch you out quite easily! :o

I believe (could be wrong) that the Transit (or at least older ones) are higher in the back than most vans? (ie; stepping in and out of them).

I know a chap that used to do furniture deliveries and said he had a pain in his jock with a Transit that he had hired out. Said it was higher off the ground at the back than his normal van (I think his normal van was a Renault Master, but could be way off).

That said, there's an Iveco Daily in the town (drogheda) with the rear very obviously raised up. Not sure what its used for, but it looks deadly. :D

Maybe because they come in rear wheel drive.
I know vans like ducatos are lower floored in the back anyway.
Iveco Dailys are nearly trucks! Some of them can carry serious weight. 4700kg

People hate being a passenger in my car.

"Look at that Transit. That'd be a class camper!"

"Look at that bus. You'd make a serious camper out of that!"

"Look at that ice cream van...."

Same goes for ambulances, hearses (I know) etc

I've seen that beast (and a proper one at that) in the background of a few pics. Why 4 years?

Only seen this now don't be tempting me with them you know my weak spot. Id love one but doesn't really meet the cheap runaround car for a year criteria. The good news is I could be getting a renault the bad news is 197 or sport is nowhere in its ad.
