    Easy to reopen
its not. its a non runner due to cost and logistical reasons.

ticking a box on a form does not make you of a religion.

Depends. If you are talking about a 9 year old then yeah. If you are talking about a 16 or 17 year old then it's easier said than done. Like I said, the best parents can still have a bad child.

Still legally responsible for them, If they don't go to school up to you to send them. If they are engaging in criminality it's up to you to report them to the Guards then to nip it in the bud.

They are legally responsible for sending them to school up until a certain age but there's not much legal responibility to a 16 year old. I've never seen a parent in trouble for a childs crime. Sure, if a kid is constantly in trouble you can look at potential abuse or neglect at home but there's still no responsibility for the childs crime.

    Re open Spike Island.
Why? It's a prison on a very accessible island, nearby a port that is used by a ship which goes to France? In the list of bad ideas, reopening Spike Island would probably be with your worst ideas.

Win win so, let the skangers and strotes hop on the ship to France.

No loss because they contribute fook all nothing to this country.

We may as well close the 'joy so. It's on a road that runs near an airport, the LUAS, a train station, multiple bus routes and a ferry terminal.
