This is fascism right or at least apartheid? A government singling out a particular ethnic group and denying them their human rights.

It's a brand of socialism actually..

    Zimbabwe is being badly mismanaged.

Mugabee should have retired decades ago.

Badly mismanaged, I suppose yes, though I can imagine what it would be called if white people where doing this.. and it wouldn't be so discreet as 'badly mismanaged'.

Q: What do we call a Farm without a Farmer?
    A: Land.

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

Why isn't Barack Obama rolling in the troops to oust this crazy dictator and promote justice and freedom and the American way?

    Wha?

This is like adding petrol to a fire. These farmers have cultivated and perfected the land around them, thus greatly contributing to the Zimbabwean economy.

    Logic fail! *Captain Picard facepalm*

The rest is used on the private jet his wife uses to go shopping in South Africa.

No, he'd have shot him and burnt his house, then let some useless crony run the farm into the ground within six months. But it's grand, it's whitey suffering here. No one gives two flying farts about them. They had it coming to them, blah, blah.

Those whites are Africans. Just rephrase it as

"African minority being murdered, dispossessed and ethnically cleansed by wealthy corrupt government elite"

It's about how you sell it.

Another opportunity for the mozambique govt to give more land to displaced white farmers. They really saw the opportunities to improve their economy last time around

Theres truth in this. Not to support whats happening but such a situation is inherently unstable, theres an obvious injustice and theres no way it would go ignored indefinitely.

Consider an hypothetical situation here where you had an ethnic minority living on productive lands with a similar history.
rightly or wrongly someones going to have an issue when reading that their grandfather worked that land as a slave and now their ethnic minority peer is living in a nice house on it while they have diddly squat (their own fault or not), plus power has now changed hands so why not take it upon yourself to not only right a perceived wrong and be a hero but also get some goodies out of it.

Don't know much of that corner of the world but they must have seen it coming, didn't they try to ease their way out and move their money ?

tl;dr - right or wrong it was always gonna happen. giant flashing take these lands from me sign.

Most of those families have been there a long time. They were born Africans and that is home to them. It takes a lot to be willing to give that up.
How far would you go to defend your home? Remember they have already outlasted a lot of conflict in Zimbabwe.

The same could have been said of the Jews in Germany between 1933 and 1939. Big warning signs there too, but a lot of inertia to overcome to leave their homeland and lives behind.

Some great commentary by the late Dr William L Pierce about the once proud nation of Rhodesia, http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tBibWSh8L8Q.

"Pierce gained national public attention following the Oklahoma City bombing, as Timothy McVeigh was alleged to have been influenced by The Turner Diaries (1978), the novel written by Pierce under the pseudonym Andrew Macdonald.[15] The book is a graphically violent depiction of a future race war in the United States, which includes a detailed description of the mass hangings- "the Day of the Rope"- of many "race traitors" (especially Jews, gay people, and those in interracial marriages or relationships) in the public streets of Los Angeles, followed by the systematic ethnic cleansing of the entire city."

And from that video: "but in time the whites taught the blacks to behave themselves."

AH really is a cesspool sometimes.

From the bread basket of Africa to a basket case. Western leaders need to cut off all aid and reimpose sanctions. Perhaps European countries could offer the Whites relocation here and a pathway to citizenship? They are clearly not wanted in Zim, so perhaps giving them the option of returning to the mothership could help sort this mess.
Plenty of black zimbabweans have suffered under Mugabe too you know..

Yes, and now this will be a precursor to the greater suffering of all Zimbabweans -white or black - which is partly the point of this thread. But one should be free to point out the plight of white Africans too you know. Special attention is required and I for one won't be swayed by the usual holier-than-thou 'inclusivity' mantras.

Most of the farms that where taken over in South Africa by the ANC in the exact same way led to vast shortfalls in productivity and heavy importation/rising prices of food.

SA has not recovered, and it's doubtful that they will with the corrupt national marxists from the ANC in power. So the average man has reverted to a subsistence-based lifestyle and relying on economy-destroying Asian imports. Similar things have been happening in Zimbabwe and will continue unfortunately.

Of course! Our concern has absolutely nothing to do with how this exacerbates the already-serious food shortage in Zimbabwe. If Mugabe gets his way, there will be no white people left in Zimbabwe, but that doesn't matter since farming enough food to feed a nation doesn't require any skills or experience ...
