    Been Ray Free for the last 3 weeks now and boy has the workplace been a cheerier place.

    Running, porridge, other ray darcys, his kids are all but distant memories.

    God bless TodayFM for jettisoning him.

    The D'Arcy household arguments over their kids' cooking..

    Jenny: "Just let them cook it, they'll be grand.".
    Ray: "No.. they HAVE to weigh the butter. they have to weigh the butter"..

    It's a good job they dont keep guns in the house.

    What's his obsession with toilets and pissing and sh*tting ??

    the same in TodayFM .. always going on about it.

    I remember about 10 years ago they did a show from a camper van for about 1 week and they all had to use a portaloo , part of the "items" on the friday show was emptying this to make sure no one took a dump.

    I'm serious.

    She was the producer on the old show before she was ever rays significant other, although I do fail to see what they all are doing there, her, will and up to 6 others

    She also had a big part in The Snapper

    I assume they wanted the 'winning' formula that brought the Darcy show to the top 10 shows on radio in the country. As both Jenny and Will were part of that team, it made sense to bring the whole team across to recreate the 'winning' formula again.

    Best of luck to them, i will be listening elsewhere.

    I thought it was the other one who was in the snapper, Mairead. Unless his missus does a good north side accent:D

    It was definitely Jenny. She was on the check out and only had one line, can't remember what it was

    It wasn't, are you alright Sharon, big langer on him had he, snip snip Burgess or big baby small turkey

    Didn't she have a part in Animaniacs as well? the talking part :D

    So i only caught the first half of today's show & i could have sworn i heard Dr Pixie McKenna was coming on?

    How many people has he recycled from TFM as i saw an article in the paper last week that Todayfm are watching the show closely
    (can't bear listening? :)) as they've trademarked some of the items on the show?

    RTE were buying a proven show. Why would they change it?

    More sour grapes from today fm because they looked like got shafted when ray left suddenly.

    It was tired and preachy and just zero fun anymore. It was so bad that when the news came on i was running for the radio to change channel, even though there was very little i liked on in that time slot. I know many more who used be fans but were actively avoiding the show towards the end.

    Still, though, i wish him and his team well in the new show, only partly because i don't wish to hear him on the radio ever again.

    The few times i tuned in to hear the new show was like being in a time warp, carried back to TodayFM 2 years ago with the same guests and dialogue.

    The bould Will must be keeping him up to date!

    This was my third afternoon listening and my comments from wednesday still stand..

    The only addition I will make is that if you are so sick that you have to keep mentioning it, perhaps you should be at home. Also for those who say he had flu, he didn't.
    When someone has the real flu, and not a bad cold, there is no way they would even consider going to work.
