How come LOT don't regularly fly to Dublin? There is 150% a market there.

Indeed, most of the Polish folk with whom I work just go straight to the Ryanair website to book flights and never look at anyone else! They must have mightily effective advertising.

Yep, every polish person I know goes to Ryanair to fly back home. They don't have a choice down here though.

My weather app is reporting a 36kt wind at Dublin (mean speed). Surely this is inaccurate? If not, the planes are getting down very well.

Any ideas why it went around and was this connected with the squawk?

I seen a YouTube video where someone was on an A380 and it went around. Its not actually that noticeable, the engine noise goes up a little and people looking out the window may notice, but it's not too extreme at all.

Ryanair delivery (EI-FIF) currently near Iceland. Due in DUB in 2 hours.

The B767 over the Dublin is N351AX, Omni Air charter for US military. Descending to SNN, it would seem.

Edit: Also a BA 787 inbound to SNN.

BA 787 inbound to Shannon to pick up passengers earlier diverted while on route to Gatwick.

    Lucky passengers!

Unusually for 15:40pm, there's 4 jets inbound to Shannon. Its not even the Summer season yet (it starts tomorrow)

I see an Air Canada A319 is airborne from Shannon for St. John's! Anyone any ideas how it ended up in Shannon? Painting maybe?

5ish posts up, read. I posted about it earlier. It diverted for Fuel. Windy day, A319 has insufficient fuel capabilities.

Bounced landing in gusting conditions. There was a spotter at the fence at the end of the runway, might be video footage or a photo even.

Precautionary, because of the gusts. There's normally one only and just checking there, there is just the one now
