    They close around 11ish AFAIK.

Fr669 took off at 10:17pm. 17minutes later than scheduled.

Thinking about it, its unlikely. It seems like usual practice to keep the airport open until all flights scheduled have left/arrived.

Looks like an extra Star Air B762 into Shannon this morning.

    OY-SRI direct from Cologne:

while N749AX did the usual multi-stop service earlier.

Oh there was one yesterday as well, OY-SRM with a slightly different ( and still non-standard ) flight number. Still in Shannon as far as I can tell.

    Maintenance perhaps?

Update 09:15: yesterday's arrival, OY-SRM, now departed eastwards

Plane flying off the coast of Ireland with its identity blocked. What sort of plane would that be? Air Corps?

Big delays in Schiphol this morning due to a power cut that closed the airport for a while this morning.

Definetly a turbo prop, not a rotor!

As an aside, the Garda Air support chopper yesterday was all black in colour. Looked the part too.

A stretched hummer, escorted by 4 Garda outriders, just flew past me here in Santry. I wonder is it related.

Yeah, they do it every year. About a week before Easter Sunday, they're out, flying around the city in practice for the 1916 commemorations. They try out a few approaches and circles from O'Connell Street. Sometimes heading around by the Phoenix Park. Other times, they take a hard left and fly down over Rathgar before turning right and having another go. I think there were only one or two at it today. I've seen them practicing with more. Next year should be good. Not as good as FlightFest, though. We'd a great view of planes turning over Bushy Park. I have a few good shots of the A380 flying right over the garden. Must hunt them out.

And I'm about to depart Dub for London City on Flybe, a discontinued route from next month I believe.

Flybes antics are strange. They start a London City route with a very saturated market and then are surprised when it doesn't work put.
