Being perfectly honest I have no clue what happened there.

Yes, it seemed to have disappeared when I checked again a few minutes ago. It was a Flybe aircraft, which seemed to have taken off from Belfast, did a few turns as if it was holding, and seemed to return to Belfast, having not got very far at all. It seemed to decend to around 850 feet.

When I checked again a couple of minutes later, it seemed to be on track at around 30,000 feet, which changed to just over 19,000 feet. Where there was a coloured line behind it, it became a black dotted line. Then, when I checked once more, it had disappeared off the screen. So, there must have been a glitch somewhere.

I really hope the above makes sense :)

EDIT: Just looking at Manchester now, that same flight seems to be due to land at 16:45, but there's no sign of it at all on the radar.

In addition to the above post, that Flybe flight seems to be back on the radar, but with a delay, whatever was going on with it. While is was showing as scheduled on FR24 for Manchester, it's now showing as delayed until 17:22. It must have returned to Belfast in the end for some reason, but FR24 seemed a bit confused with it.

There also seem to be a few aircraft holding over The Irish Sea for Dublin Airport.

Lots of holding and a few go arounds at dublin. Windshear? The wind is 20kts straight down the runway.

Yeah I heard them saying windshear - there were 3 go arounds which has backed the traffic up - everyone is landing fine now though.

Windshear in DUB is mad at the moment, supposedly you're lucky if you get in without experiencing it.

As to the lads not loading in the wind, Dublin Airport have their own limits when they want everything strapped down and nobody on the ramp

Don't know where this one is coming from but they usually originate in North Africa, Algeria or Morocco, carrying part for oil industry I think someone on here said before. Some drone off it, heard them coming!

What was the wind at the time? Do you work in the industry?

The Ryanair planes seem to be getting back out fairly quickly, and three aer lingus flights got out of T2 also.

Most just have been windy out our side I guess?

    Calm down guys :P

Don't know about El Al, but Air France usually bring in horses and computer parts.

I have no desire to visit the place, doesn't mean I hold such situations against millions of people. This is the kind of utterly simplistic thinking that breeds so much hate in this world.

Anyway back to the FlightRadar24 thread.
