Apart from Flightradar24, Planefinder and Flightaware..... what other flight tracking sites are there?

PlanePlotter Mobile for Android displays the most interesting traffic and is what I use most

Probably shows abouts 90% of FR24 but with
    • no time delays for certain traffic
    • no blocked traffic
    • full MLAT display - including US RAF and most other military

There are actually some blocked aircraft on Planeplotter, which won't respond to requests for network MLAT. But they are very few in number and are by direct requst of the defence agencies. Presumably operational UAVs etc.

The other problem with Planeplotter is that MLAT coverage over Ireland is very poor, usually ceases about 10 miles in from the coasts.

Sorry to tell you but that is exactly what I'm doing, writing to each and every one of these websites to block our aircraft.

Nice wind in the North Atlantic tonight, planes heading eastbound are getting a nice tailwind.

This LOT 787 doing an amazing 592kts (Around 1,100km/h)

Average flight time from EWR/JFK to SNN is around 5hrs 30mins this evening.

Did I just hear this right?
Pilot: we have two passengers here in the wrong seats.
    ATC: Ok
Pilot: They're going to one place and we are going to another. We need to get them off

    Haha

That's fine, we can still track them on our own receivers :)

Meanwhile Bombardier CS300 prototype has just departed Belfast returning home

It's not on the app store because the developer ties the license to one device only, rather than associating it with a user profile.

    http://www.planeplottermobile.com/#download

Instead of forking-over more cash I just use AndroidVNC over a VPN to connect to Planeplotter running at home.

EI-FAW positioning DUB-ORK due to a technical issue with 1 of the aircraft at Cork, leading to 2 hour delays on the BHX and BRS routes. Some angry passenger venting on the Aer Lingus Facebook!

Oh tell them get lost. Idiots. Sure I suppose EIR purposely created the technical issue!

Haha no, but they were fuming that instead of delaying the Birmingham route by 4 hours and letting the Bristol go on time, they delayed both routes by 2 hours.

Nah, they'd cancel it and not send a replacement:D:D

Bus them to Birmingham, be grand :pac:

FAW positioning back to Dublin now. Bit of a mess there, a flight from Rennes to Cork is 3 hours late.

Parents flying Jersey to Cork, was worried they'd get horribly delayed and they wouldn't deal with that well. FAV seems to be running on time anyway!

You taking the mick, this may have happened occasionally but I thought FR were known for their delays rather than cancellations in such situations. Whereas EI would be more likely to cancel. So yeah...confused.

What's that doing? Paint / maintenance? There was me naively thinking Emirates only have jumbos :D:rolleyes:

As its a CJ A319, I can only assume there's some important Emirates people on it? Possibly maintenance or maybe just a fuel stop...

    Pretty nice inside!

:D smiles at the end indicate taking the mick (pun intended):D:D:D

If a Ryanair flight was delayed similar to the above in the past then that flight was cancelled and then miraculously the replacement aircraft would arrive and then continue as a new flight number!

After some more googling, it's the only aircraft in the Emirates Executive fleet.
    Quick video of interior.
Now that's how to fly. What I'd give to get onboard...

For an ACJ, thats a horrid seat, i would have expected more.

Considering that you are looking at over $300,000 for a trip to the USA, i would expect something like this....

Wouldn't call them horrid. Similar to Emirates A380 offering in some regards.
