Gonna hold off on Aguero until such time as he plays most of a match. He is quite injury prone.

    Until then my team is

    GK: Pantilimon (Fabianski)

Def: Terry, Clyne, Wisdom. (Hutton & Steven Taylor) Taylor is out for season so will get rid under wildcard for another cheap defender.

Mid: Silva, Hazard, Sanchez, Downing (Sigurdson)

    Fwd: Austin, Costa, Kane.

3 mil left in the bank to do some tinkering once I think Aguero is worth it again!

Trying to figure out if Aguero + Tadic will outscore Di Maria + Ings by 4 points over the next few weeks or whether it'd be worth a hit. Can't really afford to swallow any more price rises if I want to go with both Costa and Aguero up front.

Not sure about Tadic, but I'd go the Aguero route. Downing, Siggy, Chadli any good as the other mid unless you have them already.

Downings fixtures bad after this week mind you.

I've posted stats on here before showing Aguero went 8 consecutive seasons without playing less than 30 league games before last year.

The problem is City rushing him back and speaking to a lad who supports City here in work he feels it may be the same this time. Apparently he was very rusty on Saturday.

I'd hope he doesn't start next weekend and only plays for a half.

I already have Kane so wouldn't really want Chadli too and not sure about Siggy without Bony. I think Lemlin mentioned Puncheon on another thread, that could be a great shout. Their fixtures aren't bad at all and he should start every game now that Pardew is in.

Why all the Tadic love? Rotation risk after starting on the bench at the weekend.

Is both Silva and Aguero too much City?

I think for the next 2 GW's it is, but thereafter I think they are mainstays till the end of the season.

Perhaps he was carrying a slight knock. But with Elia signed there's more competition anyway for places in the attacking 3rd. If Rodriguez returns from injury next month, then even more so:

    Pelle/Long/Rodriguez/Tadic/Elia/Mane/Ward-Prowse/Davis

I'm a big fan of Tadic but when you look at the options above his involvement becomes less straight-forward. Koeman has shown a tendency already to tailor his lineup based on the opposition in question

I need to ship Yaya out and get Aguero in. Will have to take a hit though :(

Austin to Aguero and Yaya to someone 8.5mil or less?

What's my options? I have Siggy so Chadli? Eriksen? Downing? Mata? Sterling?

I have Kane so not sure on doubling up on Spurs attack. Downing has poor fixtures coming up so only leaves me with Mata or Sterling? Thoughts please.

    Chadli has been consistent enough.

Too much to have both Kane and Chadli no? It'll probably only be for the next 2 GW's anyway, can WC then. Home to Sunderland and away to West Brom. Both teams aren't leaking goals :(

Mata worth a 2 game punt? Away to QPR and home to Leicester?

Wildcard activated... Might make another change or two before the weekend, but wanted to get Sergio in before his price rises (again).

And will I feel dumb if Siggy scores one or two this weekend!

LOL, I haven't actually chosen my captain yet, was just getting the bodies in! But ALL CREDIT for bringing it to my attention - there's a (slight) possibility that I'd overlook it before the GW kicks off. Cheers :)

As copper_pipe pointed out, maybe you weren't looking hard enough :) Cheers for the vote of confidence though - now to see what the Fantasy Gods think of it at the weekend....

Anyone else fancy Cabella , even for a 2 week gamble?!

I'm thinking him in for YaYa, Pelle in for Austin. I have all the other usual suspects, Costa, Kane, Silva, Sanchez, Hazard in my front 7.

Have been playing it safe and just fancy a bit of a gamble until the wildcard gets played

To be honest? No - and I say that as a Newcastle fan. He has 2 assists so far this season! (and it's not like they were recent). There's SURELY better ways to spend 7.1.

If I was going for anyone from United ATM it would be him.

I might take a one week punt on him for the Leicester game before wildcard the week after.

What do you think about defender from Liverpool? I really consider Sakho as my cover (cleen sheets + bonus). I know that Liverpool defence is ****, but since returning Sakho and Lucas to first squad they are much better. And missing Lovren did a thing :D (I'm Liverpool fan)

Moreno or Skrtel the ones worth considering for me. Skrtel should start each game and can be a threat at set pieces and more likely to get BPS than Sakho. Moreno is more of risk of rotation with Enrique but when he does play he's nearly an out-of-position player in the formation they're playing at the moment, technically it's a left wing-back but last 2 games he's been getting into the box a lot in open play

As of now, yes. If he gets a run under a new manager that could change, he was very good against Chelsea. Mind you with the amount of midfield options he'd have to on a solid run of form before being considered.

    Lads,

Eriksen ( who I have) or sterling? Already have Kane of spurs as well.

Sterling would make your team better balanced but recent form and upcomign fixtures edge it slightly towards Eriksen I'd say. Only slightly though...
