The Patriots look unstoppable at the moment so they won't top that division alright. Although I know Gronkowski is injury prone and he is their crucial receiver.

Colts were 5.5 points favourites and I thought Andrew Luck was going to be the next top QB. I thought you would get enough points between your WR and kicker to win our matchup.

Anyway I'm two and oh so I'm happy! :) Once again that baaaad man Aaron Rodgers delivers! My problem now though is I have DeMarco Murray as a starting RB and he has a projected 12.30 points but the Eagles are going to the Jets next week... I have L Blount as a bencher but he did nothing last week.

Edit: Just noticed I got a draft grade of A+.

Luck probably will be the next top QB. People forget he has just turned 26. That's still really young for a QB. This is his 4th season as starting QB for the Colts. To put that in perspective, your man Rodgers was the second choice QB for the Packers until his 4th season.

Quarterbacks take time to mature. Unfortunately, many of them can't be given that time and need to start off strongly or they're dumped. From 32 starting quarterbacks in the NFL, only Luck and Wilson are the ones under the age of 30 that are in any way decent or to be trusted. Wilson's the only one with a superbowl ring. All the other elite and reliable quarterbacks in the league are much older, generally well into their thirties.

Regarding your RBs, Murray was a risky pick (loads were) as evidenced by his position in the draft. The guy was the top RB in the league last year but was way down the draft order because he didn't have the Cowboys O-line in front of him this season. People didn't know if he was the real deal or just behind the best blockers in the league. He's now behind a paper thin line and getting smashed but he's not delivering himself either. For context, he's now got the lowest rushing yards for a starting RB in the opening two games in the history of the NFL. Scary stuff.

Oh, and don't trust a Patriot RB. Ever. Bellichick is notorious for changing them regardless of how they did the week before. Jonas Gray put up 40 points in a game last season. He was benched the next week and cut from the roster in the summer. Blount ended last season on fire. Barely touched the ball this season. Deon Lewis made a strong start to this season. I expect him to now be benched.

You need Foster back but looks like you'll get him this week or next which will be huge for your team (if he stays fit).

    Cheers Buer.

One question I do have: Can you cut / waive as many players as you want during the season or is there a limit? I think I read somewhere about a penalty. Also, it won't let me drop Aaron Rodgers or Randall Cobb (not that I want too!).

Oh and anyone want Percy Harvin? :)

Shouldn't be any restriction unless commissioner can put one in and I don't think Podge has done that. You should be able to cut, trade or pick up as many players as you wish.

There's a list of "undroppable players". You can see it as a tab when you click into the "Players" section on your team page. It's made up of players who are the best in the league and generally round 1 or 2 picks. It's not set in stone and the website can decide to remove people from it if they're having a stinking season although it is rare.

It's there to stop people taking the p*ss and ruining the league.

Harvin isn't a bad player (just an assh*le); there's some trade value there. He's getting a lot of targets and Rex Ryan obviously likes him given he signed him for the Jets and the Bills.

Indeed I have not. Hence you'll have noticed I've changed half my team today...

I must say American sports names are fantastic. Obviously it will be hard to ever beat D'Brickashaw as an utterly nonsense made-up name.

D'Brickashaw as his full name adds to the brilliance of it.

Haha Clinton Dix is funny, mostly because it sums up most newspaper headlines from 1996

I miss Ochocinco, Bengals WR. A mad b*stard. Changed his name legally to Ochocinco as his number was 85.

Anyway, I reckon I've found Thomond's Reddit account:

His celebrations were ludicrious. He hit a deer with his car then nursed it back to health and brought it onto the field for a touchdown celebration. Or something along those lines. What a nutter.

He was also very very good.

I interviewed for a job there recently and they sent me on a coding test. I basically have to create a single page website. I wonder at what point in the interview did he pick up that I had experience in web development. I do not have experience in web development. Sure I'll give it a lash.

Ugh looking at this now, there are .psd files included in the package they sent me. I don't even have photoshop installed.

    What's the job for?

I'm all for tests. Currently we're trying to hire in our place and one of the roles we're trying to fill requires proficient excel knowledge... We went through 3 staff who clearly lied through their teeth on their cv, one said they had 10 years experience with excel yet when they started didn't know how to copy formulas or run a pivot.

Next interview we just brought a laptop and ran a test.

We have a nice screening tool for Excel. It's 3 levels and genuine experienced users struggle with the top level.

Most "experienced with excel" users can't scratch the lowest level. Plenty of "expertise in excel" are the same. A lot of the time people are genuinely taken aback that there is more to it than just filling boxes.

That sounds handy actually. How does it work?

Because we were against the clock we ended up taking on one of these people and I'm still amazed at the questions they ask. Like, they have access to google ffs!

Its a website called ISV. We screen heaps of people with it (recruitment company) but they allow once off use also. Handy enough you can do training on it also which I found quite good.

That's the one. We're looking long term at building a suite onto our website that is a similar concept but probably more a duolingo format for both testing and training.

I use PS all the time in work, if you want I can open it and convert to pdf/jpg/whatever for you. No worries if you don't want to.
