    There's all kinds of rubbish in our front garden after the.wind last night

    Must get the husband to pick it up tomorrow. Before the neighbours think we're complete knackers!

    Brutal out there! I had a day out planned but I think Mizen Head would not be a good idea with gusts of 110 forecast....and they are talking about wintry showers on high ground..staying safe home with just the critters to see to and coal to get in; there will be trees down after last night

    We survived storms up here long before RTE and Met Eireann and their fance bells and whistles gave a jot about us, and we'll survive this one too. It's not even that big a storm, 130kph south westerlies, wouldn't even bring the cat in. We were reared on 110MPH north easterlies around here, and no live blogs or twitters or any of that nonsense.
