Tis fierce windy out there at the moment.

Laying in bed chilling out, all snug and warm listening to the wind howl outside. It's kind of nice

Anyone else like listening to the wind?

The Backwards Man won't be walking home from the pub tonight!

I'm just trying to land a plane at Dublin Airport

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Probably end up in Shannon airport with the wind.

Actually I think flights were suspended earlier?

I have a plastic Tesco bag on a string and I'm running around the garden like those rich people that can afford a kite from Argos.

    Go me! \0/

    Just in the door!

Wasn't at the pub though, out in the shed. It's a wee bit fresh alright, calming down this last half hour or so. Better than last night, woke up at 5am to an awful bang.

Good luck with that. All flights are temporarily suspended due to extreme winds with the last few hours.
Actually hang on a minute! You're landing a plane and texting at the same time. Glad I'm not a passenger on your flight.

Na, thunder, worst I ever heard. Least I assume it was thunder, didn't get up to check. House was still intact in the morning anyway.

It'll never dry on a night like this.

Mate must texted me that his neighbours have wind chimes hanging from the back of the house. They are jiggling everywhere. Driving him mad

I like it if I'm cosy inside and I know there's no way I'll be going out in it anytime soon. It was not fun this afternoon when I got off the bus wheeling a buggy and I genuinely had to fight to stop it being blown over and the baby tipped out into the road. Was a bit scary, tbh.

I'm remembering Jack Charlton's comb-over fluttering in the wind while he talked on camera, for some reason.

A very well constructed joke. Subtle, sublime and with universal appeal. Well done.

There's all kinds of rubbish in our front garden after the.wind last night

Must get the husband to pick it up tomorrow. Before the neighbours think we're complete knackers!

Brutal out there! I had a day out planned but I think Mizen Head would not be a good idea with gusts of 110 forecast....and they are talking about wintry showers on high ground..staying safe home with just the critters to see to and coal to get in; there will be trees down after last night

The crows and seagulls outside my window seem to be enjoying it - there's a big group of them wheeling and flying - it's quite sinister looking in the half light of dawn!

Listen, at least you can now use the excuse that all the copper pipe just blew into it your garden during the night
