Pocock maul hat trick. Outstanding Brumbies execution. A clinic in how to turn territory into points.

They've backed their maul all year to be fair to them. They've turned down a lot of shots at goal to take their chance (may have cost them against the Chiefs) and when they get it right they are very, very hard to stop.

I swear at half time in this competition the players swap jerseys or something. So many games of 2 halves.

Kicking duties taken off Carter this week.

Nandolo showing his value, crafts the first two tries.

    Crusaders looking irresistible today

McCaw having an awesome game so far

Blues thoroughly outplayed so far but only 14-10 down. Moala and Saili have to be 2 of the best centres not playing international rugby.

    Nice try Blues

Lovely set piece try for Saili. Hits the line like a train and Carter/Crotty were powerless there.

14-10 now. For their dominance and how poor the Blues have been for large parts, that's a poor return.

17-10 half time. Blues have to be relieved it's only that. Crusaders don't look like stopping.

Ouch! McCaw out cold from that one and a great try from the Blues, O'Connor has been very good in this game.

That's a much needed win for the Crusaders. Less convincing 2nd half but still, it's a BP win.

Couple of fantastic tries in the Lions v Cheetah's match - great game.

What a finish, best match of the day, Lions win 34 - 29.

Reds are 12 - 3 up on the hurricanes after 24 mins

Brilliant by Conrad Smith. He beat 3 Reds with just a couple steps.
Reds started well but the Canes are back in this.

    Normal service resumes 12 - 20

Hurricanes absolutely love a broken game!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 240 ✭✭stl.ire

Nonu now with the break. As soon as they Hurricanes straighten the line their finding holes and poor Reds tackles. If they get a gap you'd doubt the Reds will get much from this game.

20-12 Hurricanes. This is more like it.

Game on! 19-23, Gill with the try, O'Connor converting.

Sauvea powers over in the corner 19 - 28

Ah thats some try by the canes

    Proctor and perinara show

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 240 ✭✭stl.ire

Very, very nice. That's a great try to kill off the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,025 ✭✭✭skippymac6

Perenara is just so good at supporting breaks. He gets his double off a break from Proctor and the canes have their try BP

I'm not sure NZ would be that goosed without Aaron Smith.

I'm not sure NZ would be that goosed without Aaron Smith.

At club level tj has been at least his equal for the last session and a half (tbf tj owned as in the two games last year)

However at test level Smith is still ahead of him.

It's amazing how many good 9's (as well as 10's) the kiwis can produce. Tj, Smith, pulu, kerr Barlow, and now youngsters like weber and Drummond

Amazing how the Reds have the best set piece in the competition but are so awful. They can't defend at all.
