Sharks putting in the most pathetic performance I've seen in years. 21-3 down after 20 mins. All 3 tries embarrassing.

Should be a fourth, this is shameful stuff.

Yeah the Crusaders are destroying them.

The Crusaders are such a nice bunch of lads. Build up a 25 point lead, get the bonus point and then go down to 13 men to see if the Sharks can make it interesting.

    Make that 12 players!!

Crusaders - without Dan Carter - beat Sharks 52-10 effortlessly. Great stuff. The bookies had Sharks -1 as the handicap. :D

Decent game on at the moment, Blues and Brumbies.

Blues totally dominated the first half, and dominated the Brumbies 13 -0 at Half Time

Brumbies exploded out in the second and have dominated, 14-13 to the Brumbies now.

    Great kick by West.

Blues leading 16-14 with 2 minutes to go.

Ballsy kick from the touchline, but a beauty.

Brumbies mess up their next attack so if the Blues can secure the scrum they are safe.

EDIT: They give away a penalty, straight in front just near the halfway.

    Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.

    Nick White misses, Blues win.

Blues have lost so many like it, finally they get the bit of luck.

had to happen, glad to see a lot of our predictors saw this happening today :)

Ahh, going to finally loose my lead in the predictor comp.

Didn't think the referee did great this morning, missed a fair bit and went on to call some pretty marginal stuff. Thought there was also a big case for a Brumbies penalty try. Still 5 metres out but the maul was absolutely rumbling and all the Brumbies players were still on their feet. Brumbies didn't look like world beaters, Blues did their best to throw another game away. Pocock looked very much back to his best which is absolutely huge for Australian rugby.

Pocock was a one man team in the second half. Nice dilemma for Cheika on how to include him and Hooper in a team.

id love to see the stats on reset scrums so far this season

seems like all the good work of 2-3 years ago is being lost

Nice start to the sporting weekend with crusaders highlanders on now.

Lovely play by slade and great offload by nandolo to set up the first crusaders try

Lovely counter from the highlanders. Great break from sopoanga.

14-13 to crusaders at half time

What a massive win for the highlanders.

Crusaders will have to win next week at home against the Chiefs. No easy task

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Crusaders a bit Jekyll and Hyde, will mean they have to go away in the playoffs to win it. Waratahs have had the only good piece of play in this game but sloppiness giving the Stormers a 13-5 lead.

Stormers get the 4 try bonus point. Great defensive performance from the Stormers. The Tahs don't look close to retaining their title.

Sharks almost absolutely stole a game there, Zeilinga just missing a last minute penalty but the 23-21 scoreline massively flatters them.

so, predictor competition looks like this after 9 rounds

    1 ▲2 Yeah_Right 54.41
    2 - Swiwi 53.91
    3 ▼2 Luckygent88 52.08
    4 ▲3 sydthebeat 51.91
    5 ▼1 Kiwi_knock 50.33
    6 - Pudsy33 48.75
    7 ▼2 Bridge93 47.83

must admit, less that 7 points between top and bottom over 9 rounds is a great showing

I'm not losing, so I'm exceeding my expectations.

Might make them think twice, now its hitting them where it hurts hardest.

Shocking showing last weekend. Lost my lead for the first time :(

Terrible start for the Crusader. They just seem to be not playing with the flair of old. Carter has missed two bad kicks and the Chiefs lead 13-3. The Crusaders had a man advantage when Cane was put in the bin but instead of taking chances and trying to force home their advantage, they attempted two kicks and both were missed by Carter. The Chiefs back is completely bossing the Crusaders in the tight and it's going to take a big effort to get the win here. As I am writing this, Carter has missed another one and its 13-3 after 30.....

Crusaders get a peno (finally Carter splits the uprights!) but in injury time they are turned over just outside the Chiefs 22 and Lowe sprints away for a near length of the field try. 18-6 at ht and it's a long way back from here for the Crusaders. They don't seem to be making any inroads in the Chiefs defence. They are relying on penalties to get them down the field and they are going to have to get imaginative to break open this Chiefs defence.
