Well he isn't a winger and those 2 lads were quite handy on the sideline.

    Think that solves that.

This is like something you would see on Football Manager, it is still absolutely brilliant to this day.

That Paulo Dybala lad has made it pretty clear he would do anything to go to Barcelona. He said when asked: 'I'd swim to Barcelona, it's only just across the sea.'

He might need a bike or something for when he gets to Sardinia. He could make a triathlon out of it. I'd pay good money to watch that.

Well, actually I'd probably just stream it.

    Donnatello
    Raphael
    Leonardo
    Michaelangelo
    Spiderman

That would be a poor back 5 tbh, good in full back positions with Donatello's intelligence and spidey's speed and agility, but Raphel is too aggressive in the tackle and Michelangelo clumsy passing will be liabilities

Which of the two 80 odd million players/Messi does he see himself displacing?

I've only watched a full Palermo game once this season, but Dybala was absolutely fantastic. If that game was indicative of his season, I can fully understand why lots of clubs are looking at him.

He was creating mayhem every time he got the ball. Hopefully we've been following his progress at least, especially as it looks unlikely we'll be keeping Falcao.

Fletch and Clev in action in the Villa Brom game on BT right now. Good match so far.

Vietto is still scoring against me in 10 years for United on FM so I think he should be signed instead of Dybala.

Granted Falcao is a club legend in it so might not be accurate :p

Didn't we play Raf in MF against Arsenal and absolutely dismantle them? That was tactically class from Fergie.

Is the game of contention not the Blackburn one where he started CM alongside Park?

    Strootman on twitter
Contrary to reports in the media I am back in training and working hard on my comeback. Please don't believe people who have never seen me in their lives, but just follow the social pages of me and AS Roma where we will keep you updated on my progress. Just for the record, I'm right on schedule to be back when preseason starts.

    Good for him...

Indeed, I do hope he does get back to full fitness.

I hope he doesn't go the route Hargreaves tried to go with Youtube videos of how "fine" he is. You could see the strings in the Hargreaves video, terrible VFX.

He still won't be the same player ever again and that's a shame, never really hit the top top level

Newcastle have only beaten us twice in 15 years, averaging 2.6 goals a game against them in that time

    Handy 3-0 win so

We have played them on 4th March before.

It was a huge result at the time.

All the dire and shambolic teams we've played so far have managed to raise their game and put in their best performance of the season. Villa, QPR, Sunderland twice, Yeovil fücking town and Burnley.

I just hope nothing silly happens tomorrow night.

March 4th let's hope it's a lucky date for United...

Newcastle are missing many players, so hopefully we make full use of it.

Utds away form is the big worry. Huge game tonight imo. Rivals all have handy looking games on paper, we really need 3 points. Would be a huge boost for the team too, getting an away win and hopefully setting them on a path to top 4.

Newcastle are a terrible team in terrible form, we should and will beat them easily. The result will also mean absolutely nothing to the wider issue of our poor performances, though it will be used to prove that everything is fine at the club and we have nothing to worry about.

Rooney always scores against them. Another two for him today would be great.
    Any team news?

Just a word of warning. Less than three points tonight and I'm getting up, grabbing my stuff, and plonking myself on the negativity couch with all the others.

If it's not three points tonight, United will be 5th and with Southampton back to one point behind. I wouldn't be able for it.

Our away form has been dreadful this season so no away game is a given.
At this stage of the season all I am worried about is getting enough points to finish in the top four.

The rest of your post is the usual "end of the world" stuff that has become both tiresome and predictable in equal measures.
