So, I'm thinking of either mounting the RP Zero in an Xbox controller of some sort, in fact I've a wireless Xbox 360 stick that could be co-opted into service, and run the little board into a TV, it has all the buttons one might need too.
The alternative is the Nes controller with the 3D printed rear, but then you are limited by buttons to what you can play.

Igarashi (IGA) is the one doing the Castlevania thing. Inafune is the Megaman guy.

Not really surprised though, when has a kickstarter ever arrived on time. I'm more looking forward to La Mulana 2 though but that is also looking like it's a long way off.

Things that annoy me about Videogames no.: 593

Those terrible, terrible adverts for mobile phone games that try to ape the style of those wonderful Team Fortress update adverts from years ago and utterly fail on the comedy department.

**** off Boom Beach, Clash of Clans and all your ilk.

It's having movie stars advertising phone games that's bizzare, from Aanold to Waltz, mental.

Those aren't really the worst though. It's the crappy CGI ones like the awful Boom Beach one and that **** with the guy singing on the sheep or whatever during a bombing raid. It just annoys me how unfunny they are and how people actually got paid to make them and infect my eyes and ears with their stupidity.

At least we can do our bit and not buy any of them.
I deleted Threes from my phone as it was damaging my enjoyment of TV.
There I'd be, watching The Expanse or Gotham, and my eyes would drift down to the dark screen of my phone, a few taps later and I'd be trying to multitask, watching sh1t go down in the gloomiest kip in the DC universe and try to make 768 on Threes!
    No more!
    Begone unwanted but addictive distraction!

Quick question. The 50/60hz mod for the Sega mega drive, does that work for the Sega CD games as well?

Only if you have a Mega Cart with a custom bios, I believe.

As for the 32X, I believe you can mod it so it has a switch, just like a modded Mega Drive.

You can load different Mega CD BIOS files from an Everdrive if you have one. So you can boot a PAL Mega CD as a Jap one etc.

Started to watch the Rerez channel this weekend after youtube recommended it to me.

He may be no Norm but his videos are very well produced and presented.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,388 ✭✭✭Doge

Oh and its funny how you pick up more Simpsons references as you get older,

Was watching The episode "Homer goes to college" today and the first line the nerds say is "Intruder Alert, Intruder Alert, Destroy the Humanoid!"

Obviously referencing a classic Arcade game which also got a Vectrex port!
