It's the mid 90's. I'm transporting a boot full of contraband when I notice I'm been pursued by the police.
I ponder my options and they appear to be, co-operate and hope for the best or hit the accelerator and try to out run them.
Now the second option doesn't really hold much appeal for me and seeing as financially I am in a position to hire a good lawyer, I choose option 1.

    I live between 2 mountains.
It's the custom where I'm from that the son learns his fathers profession.
I met my sweetheart in school there, we were both adolescents.
Sometimes we'd go driving from where we lived to an area that was more verdant.

We carry out the wishes of an elderly gentleman in a period without much rain,
the maintainer of a warning beacon in a barren region's daylight.
Musing about people slumbering and turning against an evil state,
We think of showers while we sleep and of the development of firearms.

A desire for nourishment engulfed me whilst I carried out an act of robbery. I could hear some rodents chiming in the room in which I was interned. A metaphorical instrument chimed signalling I was up for execution.
