I had similar thoughts myself. Eriksen is hitting top form now with a good run of fixtures, at 7.8m he's great value. Jagielka is a relatively cheap way into the Everton defence but I think I'd prefer to get Baines. How I'm going to get him is another matter. I may end up dumping Di Maria and Clyne to fund the Baines transfer. There are so many different moves I'm pondering atm though I think I'll take a break from it all and revisit it after the midweek European games. :o

yeah i have di maria as well, although i will not be releasing him. he is too valuable imo and i think some utd attacking cover is needed.

so if i go with those two transfers the team for this week will be:

    Forster
    Jags Wisdom Duff
    Eriksen Fab ADM Siggy
    Aguero (c) welbeck costa

    boys azpi moore

I suppose you're right. That would be a solid team, only thing you're missing is Southampton attacking cover.

I'm really thinking of Azpi to Jagielka. That's two goals and 6 bonus he's got so far and at the attractive price of 5.5.

Defenders seem to be where it's at for Everton attacking cover :)

    Ulloa - Pelle
    OShea - Jagielka
    Silva - Moses

4 point hit. Not bringing Kun into the team, probably a stupid idea but I'll have to cut up my midfield or sell Falcao to bring him in. Will see how Falcao settles in the next few weeks and I can do a swap if I need to.

Swapped Courtois (sp?) and Welbeck for Pelle and Forster. Awful lot of southhampton in my team now but they seem to be in form and the prices for those two are only going one way. Can swap back if necessary.

Not that you can trust anything Jose says

Last season he said Terry and Cech were gone for the season after the first CL semi final leg against Athletico. Both played in the second leg!

I'm gonna be holding on to Costa anyways. Can lose 0.1 on him before it effects me, but I honestly don't think he'll be out for long considering he played against Luxembourg and scored too!

I do think he has a suspension coming soon though. :(

I wonder if 2 4.4 Mids might be a viable strategy for a few weeks. Hmmmm

So need advise badly. See attached my team.

I got 0.3 in the bank and need to replace Ulloa.

I cant afford Welbeck or Pelle.

Would Sakho be a good option?

Is Azpil would replacing for a -4 hit??

How much do you need to get Welbeck? Ulloa and Azpil out, for Welbeck plus someone at around 4.5m could be worth a -4 hit alright. The problem is picking players at that price that will keep cleanies. Kaboul/Rose might be ideal, but your budget might not stretch to that.

This has crossed my mind (albeit a 4.4 and a 5.5)

Where would you use the extra $$$s out of interest? Baines + Ivanovic?

Fabregas to Sanchez and Siggy to 5.9 mid is what I am looking at.
    Already have Boyd.

    just pulled the trigger

    Sterling
    > Cadli
    Williams
    > Baines

probably a tad unnecessary but have a good bit of breathing room in all my leagues so decided to treat myself to two transfers

    Current team:
    Forster | Eliott
    Azpi | Wilson | Taylor | Moore | Duff
Fabregas | Sterling | Siggy | Di Maria | Marney
    Aguero | Costa | Pellè

2FT for GW9 and happy with team, neverthless, Azpi’s 3 game ban will open the door to Baines – Burnley (A); Swansea (H); Sunderland (A); West Ham (H).
To do this 1 of the premium midfielders has to go… my choice is sterling (pool were caotic and all the issues with him being tired… in need of a rest…), allowing me to choose between:

    Chadli – Newcastle (H); Villa (A); Stoke (H); Hull (A)
    or
    Tadic – Stoke (H); Hull (A); Leicester (H); Villa (A); following City/Arsenal/United

I already have 2 southampton players and it might be a little “too much”…
Any opinions/considerations will be most welcome!

I've had two 4.4 for the last 3 Gw - can't decide what to do with the extra cash though - Boyd and cork both scored this GW

Am I mad to do Azpilicuelta out Bertrand in and Schneiderlin out and Diame in?

    Cheers, didn't know that.

I've done sterling, ulloa and DDG out for Chadli, pellé and lloris. Only my second pts hit of the year, but Spurs should slaughter Newcastle, and sterling had to go to fund pellé.

He has looked decent alright but so has Downing. Both Hull and West Ham are scoring goals.

Costa situation is squad rotation plain and simple.

    Trust your squad.

Give him a well earned rest against minnows Palace and Maribor.

If he is not back for Man United I'll eat my jocks.

Which is stronger, to keep option 1 or take a -4pt hit for option 2:

    1. Keep Sterling, Wilson and Ulloa

    2. Bring in Obertan, Baines and Wellbeck.

Option 2 does seem attractive and I can afford to take a 4pt hit.

Jagielka or Rose??? Dunno which to go with.
Have to use 2 FT to get in Jags, only 1 to get in Rose.
