Great point there. Embarrassing that he can kick that one and AOS couldn't get his on target.

Did we send out our Aboriginal team this year?

AOS thinks he has all the time in the world when he gets near the goal... Just take the points

Someone must have told Aidan O'Shea that this was a final...

Have there been a lot of rule changes? It's gone a lot softer, loads of fouls given for minimal contact that would have been laughed at a few years ago.

"Showing Ireland how to kick this ball"

Was going to say that was a cocky statement but the Aussie commentator has it spot on

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,813 ✭✭✭chrysagon

unlike 2 yrs ago..the Aussies have taken it serious and put football ball out of our heads...still Irish guys got a free holiday!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,137 ✭✭✭TimRiggins

Aussie's are playing some beautiful stuff at the minute in fairness.

    agree.... aussies doing the bizz

Some of Ireland's play is like Gaelic football from back in the day.
Kick it high, long and often seems the order of the day. Just lump it in for the sake of it.

Aussies kicking much improved. Still not fantastic but it doesn't need to be, they're elite athletes whereas our lads are amateurs. Our guys get stage fright every time an aussie gets within tackling distance.

"we are the Irish team, get us out of here"

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,786 ✭✭✭Panrich

We don't look like we have any gameplan.

Turning this off. I can accept them being stronger and fitter but when their ball skills are better than ours that's unacceptable.

Better faster and stronger. Ireland look like they were on a piss up all week

We are being taught a lesson here. Our players are long being off professional and it's pretty shameful how they are kicking the ball so much better than us.

Thank Christ it's an one-off Test this year or it could've been even more embarrassing

Actually enjoying watching the Aussies. It hasn't been a hatchet job, their passing and movement are whats causing us problems.

    What's the score folks?

Oh well, at least there is the rugby later...

Even Hanley looks lost and he mixes it with these guys every week. Preparation is at fault here.

My 26-33 point aussie winning margin bet is starting to look bleak now.

What do we expect when what essentially is our second ( if not 3rd) choice team.

1 GAA point in 37 mins is very bad and we shouldn't even have that score
