    Age is a funny thing - it's often said that as you get older, you get more conservative and less tolerant etc. Likewise young people can be very extreme in their views. What happens in the middle?

    I can't believe posters are hung up over one person saying watching porn can be harmful to society, but one poster said being gay is harmful to society and no seems to have given a ****e about it.

    Jaysus, you're in AH we are not REAL people we don't generally discuss important things in a mature manner. Everyone has been through the gay thing a million times, some people think it's unnatural it's not how you pro create etc some people think it's perfectly fine you can be who you want to be etc, so why not let the old bigots who are against homosexuality be themselves without going ape sh1t at them for having different views, unless of course they project the anti-homo thing into physical or mental abuse, then we can kill them :cool:

    Just to say that opposition to gay marriage is by no means a fringe point of view.

    In the UK and elsewhere there is huge resentment at how it is being forced on society by what some see as a metropolitan clique. Indeed some gay people are even opposed to it. I think a majority of Conservative MP's voted against, were even a few Labour rebels.

    I've no problem with porn regardless of the sexual orientation of it. I wont watch it unless it's the straight one but that's just me :)

    That's because we have such strong values of acceptance.

    The old guard was also intolerant of any questioning of beliefs.
