It's almost 5:30 and there's no thread yet...

The wildcard might get used, but I might re-assess

Either Krul or Coloccini out. No replacements in mind

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 378 ✭✭John83

    I need to ditch Rooney.
    I need to ditch Mutch.

    I want Aguero.
    I want Pelle.

    I may need to wildcard.

May hold onto it until next week so I can have 2 FT's and change up my midfield a bit.

I'll be considering Ramsey -> Silva, Ozil or Di Maria perhaps.

What about Siggy? Time to cash out? Better options long term going forward?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 974 ✭✭✭internet_user

Rooney out for either Dzeko, Pelle or Welbeck

Rooney out for Dzeko or Pelle?
DDG out for Forster! Considering giving Sig the chop too. May be time to crack out the wildcard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,879 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    Siggy out for Mcgeady anyone?

Swansea at home to Newcastle next week - I will wait until after that game to decide

Sanchez and Rooney to go, barring Sanchez coming on and changing the game here.

    Silva and Aguero perhaps.

Ramsey's hamstring gone. Yep, that'll be him out this week so.

Bollocks...was hoping he would continue scoring low for a while.

    Influx of Silva now IMO.

He's likely to return after the international break so he could feature against Hull on 18 October.

Looking like Rooney and Ramsey to the two best one week replacements and WC as planned in International break

very interesting.. after a few games i reckon he'll start banging them in

gonna bring in Di Maria for a few games until Walcott is fit and maybe switch then

Rooney and Ramsey to X and Y.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,724 ✭✭✭kennyb3

Van Persie and Chadali or welbeck and silva?

For roo and Ramsey obviously, no di Maria or city player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

I'm thinking I might just use a -4 this week to contain my Rooney and Ramsey fires before taking my time with the WC the week after and extinguish all of the others too.

Can even afford some creative thinking with 1 week punts and get it out of my system for a while again. I have a plan and should stick to it rather than panic I think.

    welbeck and silva

RVP to expensive, better options available. while Chadali doesn't play 90 mins in many games.

Welbeck should play full 90, and we Walcott coming back could help him to get more goals.

Silva seems to be finding form again - did anyone see the game?

Want to get Silva in, but would mean getting rid of Sterling, Fabs or ADM though. Have no other Liverpool or United player and am very unwilling to get rid of Fabs. Will probably save up transfers and wait it out.

Will bank the transfer this week after WC'ing last week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

Rooney out is the obvious one for me. I have £1.1m in the bank but there's no obvious replacement. Bit of head scratching ahead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,420 ✭✭✭Invincible

Mata will probably get back in team now for next 3 games. Good excuse to get the under performer Rooney out, but for who...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 784 ✭✭✭FrClintPower

Had Rooney but no money in the bank, I've booted him out for Dzeko already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,698 ✭✭✭sheroman01

I'm gonna take a -4pt hit to get rid of Rooney and Ramsey and bring in Augero and Sterling. Is it too early to make the change now I wonder :P?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,860 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Hmm might bank the transfer and do Krul to Szczesny and Dummett to Duff next week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,336 ✭✭✭✭km79

banked this weeks transfer as I had 10 players at home. somehow I have 11 at home next weekend as well! I dunno what way I'm going to go with it.....unless pieters plays well it may well be him to someone a lot cheaper . I want to keep the 2nd transfer till after int break. defo getting in at least one saints player then

Rooney to Pelle done and may do mario to aguero for a -4 after the Cl games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,656 ✭✭✭Western Pomise

Have had Ramsey since start...see he's injured...if swapping to Silva is Silva looking near a price rise or is it time enough before doing transfer?...thanks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    Stat Attack:

65% of Dzeko's league goals have been scored away from home.

who else have you got ?
assuming you have Costa I'd get pelle (spurs away next week but then 2 home games in a row)
if you have pelle could you afford aguero........
also sturridge shud be back next week. I won't be getting him but a better option than balotelli no doubt about it
looking beyond next week wellbeck has good fixtures
    lukaku too.....

pelle and beef up midfield as it may be weak with that outlay on strikers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,268 ✭✭✭IsMiseMyself

Now the headache of who to bring in for Rooney begins. Not liking the look of Welbeck and I have no City cover, so it's likely between Aguero or Dzeko, with Pelle as an outside bet. I don't mind losing .1 or .2 over the week so I'm in no real rush to make the decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,077 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Think I'll be shipping Eriksen out this week. Only 1 goal and no assists in 6 games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,009 ✭✭✭kronsington

Im kind of surprised at the ownership % for Aguero. Yes, he's probably not fully fit (how often is he?) and his price is probably off putting for some. But I would have thought with six games in, a player of outstanding quality, arguably the best player in the league and the number one striker of the champions and probable top scorers would have more ownership by now.

Why? Cheapies like Naismith and Ulloa started well. Pelle's hit form. They've all scored as well or better than Aguero week on week. Costa is a lock-on and with 34% still owning Rooney, Aguero's owner rates are no surprise. It should take a bit of a leap over the next couple of weeks.

What do people think of sakho of west ham, he's scoring goals and their at home to qpr next week

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 328 ✭✭Griever931

    Pelle in for Welbeck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,027 ✭✭✭✭titan18

Any chance Sturridge will be fit, would be a nice swap from Rooney to him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,009 ✭✭✭kronsington

gonna stick with welbeck.. he will get goals i feel.. for his price he's a solid differential.. with many teams having the same core now (especially in midfield and costa) how important is it to try get good differential players?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,879 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Tempted to move on Chambers for Moore, he is 1 yellow from a ban and likely to get that next week.
