I thought he was about 35 I'd of never guessed anywhere near 25 just because of the house more so than the cars. Fair play simonigs you clearly worked hard for everything you have now. Also there is some serious amount of excitement on here about the gt86 you'd swear everyone was getting one :D although it will be great to see the pictures.

Your not going to believe this it must be a small world I was going to post this earlier. Anyway flicking through my Facebook timeline earlier and I see a post saying the blue oval is gone and there's pictures go into them it's a blue focus st then I see the 225 reg and I remembered that's supergurriers old st. I don't know the guy you sold it to but he's from Kilkenny and some of my friends must know him as they had liked it. Small world.

So many of the regulars seem to be in their 20s you'd think there would be more of a spread I know there is older posters but doesn't seem to be as many. I'm only 20 I feel so young compared to all the 25s :D

Bit of downtime while I'm back in training.
€128 a week from FAS is proving difficult coming from in or around €630-€650 a week on the building sites.
It'll be worth it though in the long run. :)

You doing that welding course with FAS? Tried to get on one about 5 years ago but the waiting list was 2 years.

That's the one, I was on the waiting list for a year, there's a few lads in the course with me that we're waiting 2 years.
    Crazy!

It's moving off down to Cork next year, not sure how the waiting list is gonna work.

Welding is a very good course to do. My dad is a welding/ materials inspector among other things and he's always saying how there is a serious shortage of decent welders in all the factories he's in even more so in uk they are crying out for welders.

I put my name on the list but went to college not long after. I want to get a mig welder for working on cars. Don't see the funds coming though. My mate has a little inverter you can weld panels with but it's not great. You can only do an inch at a time and it still leaves a few holes. Thinking of moving down to cork in the new year myself. Living with the folks the last 2 months. The first time in 10 years at home got old fast.

The old barman in my local is on serious money welding big pipes over in oz. He was just doing the bar work and done a private course and went straight into the job.

Sure you just can't kill an octavia. They might be a bit plain and boring but they stay going through thick and thin. I thought you had sold your one.

My dad considered going to oz but none of the rest of us wanted to go and it's very far to go over and back to Ireland even once a month. He's in uk at the moment and he said there is a lot of work for welders not at oz rates but good high hourly rates all the same.
