Has to be Regal. Loved his spell as commish.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

A polarizing match that sees the man from the Nation triumph over the Commisioner. Fiery temper vs fiery passion in the next scrap

Because he is Eddie and had everything.
    Not a Christian fan.

Eddie for me too. Hated christian as a singles star with his long hair and ridiculous temper tantrums.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,825 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

Eddie. The pairing of Chyna and Eddie made for some funny skits. Eddie at the playboy mansion etc etc.

Eddie was a much better talent than Christian. And Christian is no slouch. Eddie for me

Eddie for me too! Was just breaking out around this time, loved watching him

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

Christian fails to get out of the blocks as Eddie cruises by without so much as a wobble. Two realistic contenders are about to face off in the pick of the round.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here but I'm gonna vote for X-Pac. Decent mid-card wrestler who had some decent feuds for the title

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 51,217 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

Bulldog. First champion and one of if not the best. Plus I think he's the only European left in the mix.

I will go with X-Pac, he was far more entertaning to watch than Bulldog as champ and mostly associate Bulldog with IC belt.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,301 ✭✭✭✭gerrybbadd

    Bulldog here for me

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,043 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Has to be X-Pac, him and D-Lo are the 2 guys i remember most prominently as European Champion

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,478 ✭✭✭brianregan09

X pac for me too liked his run as euro champion seemed a good level for him too

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

The man formerly known as 1-2-3 Kid and Syxx gets past the powerful Bulldog. There's only one spot left in the semi-final. Who will claim it?

Angle. His first year was one of the finest ever. The euro belt and the intercontinental belt had a lot to do with this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,301 ✭✭✭✭gerrybbadd

    Kurt for me here too

With the Olympic Gold Medalist progressing, we now know our final four. The Semi Finals are going to run on a time limit basis, with an 8 hour time limit. The Superstar that gets the most votes, will book their place in the PW Boards European Championship Tournament Final. I've included the wrestlers themes from when they first won the European Title to help refresh your memory. Get voting!

D'Lo for me here. Xpac was exciting as a champ for a while, but I remember D'Lo with the title a lot better.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,825 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

Yep haven't voted for him yet but D-Lo really should take this one.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,158 ✭✭✭✭hufpc8w3adnk65

I'm going too go for PAC here, used prefer watching him wrestle and allways got me excited too see what he'd do next

D lo for me too. Hated X-Pac.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

D'Lo for me too. The European title always makes me think of him first.

  • Registered Users Posts: 129 ✭✭Sin Eater

D Lo Brown, he was exactly the type of wrestler the title was for. Talented midcarder with plenty of potential to rise.

Could say the same for Xpac, but by the time he had held it he had been around for years, and seemed to have reached his peak. Whereas at the time the only way was up for D'lo. Pity he never quite reached the top.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,043 ✭✭✭✭CSF

I think he's already won this, but yeah D'Lo, D-Lo was the ultimate European champion and should be taking this home

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,192 ✭✭✭Ken Shamrock

X-pac for me, much more entertaining in and out of the ring imo.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

123 Kid was my favourite wrestler when I was little. And he was a deadly worker. I was delighted when he came back in 1998 and when he captured the European Title I felt it validated him in WWF as it was his first singles title while HHH moved up to IC level. Really liked his feud with Shane at the time. He was a cool guy from 98-99 and booked well.

D'Lo was class too and his hailing from different countries, as well well as the chest protector gimmick were a riot. He could get it done on the ring too. One of the most underrated guys at the time.

I'm gonna go with Heart over Head here and vote X-Pac
