For context, just checking and Shawshank made $28 million worldwide at the box office in 1994 (52 million apparently adjusted for inflation). Darabont and his family are set.
Yeah I'd imagine there was some sort all claims settled/don't sue us again waiver in there.

Not sure how to do it on desktop version.
That button on the desktop site too but invisible. It's slightly to the left of "type your comment" in the comment box. I think it pops up at the bottom when editing posts too.
I don't see a thread but but had to comment; looks like the Space Jam sequel is giving folk ammunition for snark. I got a laugh out of the eagle-eyed viewer who spotted a nun from the infamous Ken Russell film, The Devils, in the background IP smorgasbord.
The editing is also apparently quite something, giving Bohemian Rhapsody a run for its money in giving armchair critics a headache
Folks, what's the craic with the IMAX in Blanchardstown? Is it the same as Parnell St, as in actually IMAX-lite?
There's no proper IMAX in Ireland - all IMAX-lite. Indeed, IFI is the only 70mm capable cinema in the country AFAIK.
Looks like Space Jam 2 is a turkey ,one of those $150m cost films that needs $300m to breakeven, and its banned in China , upwards of a $100m loss on the cards
Very disappointed to hear BBC have axed The Film Programme, probably one the best produced film shows and podcasts out there. Scorsese, Chris Nolan, Ken Loach and a 100 other filmmakers and actors have written an open letter asking BBC to reverse its decision.
That's a shame, I've enjoyed listening to it.
Regé-Jean Page ( from Ride and Prejudice aka Bridgerton ) is to star in The Saint reboot, I find him a charisma vaccum, he was also linked to Bond
The Saint? Cos that's an IP bursting with eager fans. Had a Google, and looks like Paramount are the studio holding the keys - guess they need content for their own streaming service. Dexter Fletcher is attached to direct so presumably any spontaneous musical numbers will be well directed if nothing else 😄
I thought it was a film reboot
I do enjoy the Val Kilmer one
I was thinking there was a reboot recently with Eliza Dushku. Looked it up and it was released in 2017 as a tv movie, but made in 2012/2013 when attempting to launch a new series.
And in imdb, that's actually Eliza's last acting credit.
I think I remember something with James Purefoy, was that The Saint
