Nick Powell at 4.9 could be someone to keep an eye on at Leicester. He will probably play behind the striker and should score a few goals.

Was tempted on this one myself, but will he be starting games for them?

    Wide left or right.

Arsenal have no decent, fit centre forward and approximately 1 million top class midfielders. I don't think Wellbeck was signed to play wide left or right.....

Admittedly. But I don't see who else could play upfront in the Arsenal squad? So I think Welbeck position upfront is pretty safe until Giroud's return (unless he's sh*te).

Sanogo. He scored two for France U21s a few days back. Wenger has also mentioned giving him playing time to aid his development.

Sanogo has had a couple of chances and has underwhelmed, no goals, not looking up to it yet. Mr Sanogo, meet Mr League Cup......

I agree Welbeck SHOULD start up front, all depends on Wenger.

Welbeck will be up front. They were begging for a forward. Sanogo doesn't cut it.

Jovetic def out? Noticed that he didnt play for his country last night alright

I'm thinking of taking an 8 point hit with the following.

    Player(s) in Player(s) out
    Courtois Lloris
    Moreno Azpilicueta

Is this worth -8 points? Courtois will hopefully be my keeper for the whole season and means I still have Chelsea defensive cover. Moreno is nailed on to start and has just as good a chance as Lloris in getting a clean sheet bonus. It seems like a double improvement to my team.

Guardian are saying that we'll know the severity later today.

I reckon there could be an influx of transfers for Rooney later this week if people shift Jovetic and Sturridge. Amazingly he could get through the week without dropping in value which would be quite a feat.

Iv brought in Tadic for Erikson. Stupidly used the wildcard to bring in Erikson, he dosnt seem to be playing as a no10 anymore and drifts all over the place not good for points returns. Been impressed with tadic from what iv seen and amazing record from dutch league for a midfielder. Takes free kicks and southampton have favourable fixtures for next 7/8 weeks so i said its worth giving him a shot.

It's really hard to say but i think at 4.9 your getting a midfielder who if he plays should be in behind the striker. Been impressed with Leicester they have looked good going forward in tough fixtures. At home i think they will do well and i think he is worth a punt as a cheap 5th midfielder. I will be playing 3-4-3 so i will chance him and see if he gets games.

Is Phyllis Jones doubtful for the weekend?

Didn't catch the England game last night

    Rooney 3k transfers out today.

Wellbeck 6k in. Falcao 3k in. I think Rooney will continue to be transferred out.

    There are better options available.

Tadic looks a good pick for the next couple of months. Theres a good chance he'll be playing more centrally now behind Pelle now after they signed Mane. A lot of Southamptons play goes through him, he has the most touches in the final third in the whole league.

Yes, i'm aware of that. The sturridge injury has certainly slowed his transfers out. He is doing well to hold on. Many expected him to drop 0.2m

I really don't see how swapping Tottenham defensive cover to Liverpool defensive cover is worth 8 points. Think about it that way.

He's been transferred out by 245k this GW. That's double the amount of transfers out of the next player Jovetic on 105k.

His transfers had to slow down eventually given the huge number that dropped him immediately.

I'd expect the trend of him being transferred out to continue on Friday when people who wait make their transfer. I definitely don't expect an "influx" of positive transfers for him.

You misunderstood me. I didn't mean that his NT will become positive. I meant his NTO will be positively impacted i.e. NTO figures reduced.

There is also the WC scenario whereby those that sold him for cash increasing purposes will pull him back into their teams at the end of the week.

I do think there is a reasonable chance that he will not drop in price this week. I think transferring Rooney out before a QPR game is a wasted transfer and he will be my vice captain behind costa this week

I wouldn't spend a transfer on bringing Rooney in if i didn't have him but i think it is short sighted for people to transfer him out this week unless one is doing some long term WC team setting.

Doing Mata to Cesc, been on holidays for the last three weeks so I'm quite happy that my team doesn't appear to need massive surgery

You don't mention NTO there. You mentioned an "influx" of transfers. Influx means transfers in. It does not mean anything about "figures reduced".

I can't see anyone on a wildcard keeping Rooney whether he plays QPR or not. I also can't see why you think masses of people would transfer him in when clearly better options are available.

The transfers in today are showing that with Falcao, Wellbeck and other strikers having positive figures.

Is Mata to Di Maria worth a 4 point hit?

Not for me maybe next week when we know what way Utd will lineup and how the new signings affect mata.

You are misunderstanding him, an influx would reduce his NTO which would reduce his chance of dropping, all he's saying is that Rooney might not drop, which is true he might not, I hope he doesn't anyway!
