    having a problem when making calls, i can only hear when its on loudspeaker. Any ideas?

    Who has the one plus one? You or the other person?
    I know that sometimes people can't hear someone using one plus one but you can hear them. If this is the same issue you will need super user to fix it.

    Seems the CyanogenMod 13.0 (referred to in the forum as Sultans) and Tugapower are both pretty stable and getting regular updates, it's between them

    Hi, I sometimes get people saying they can't hear me or that what they hear is very distorted. I'm the OPO user and I'm on 5.1.1 rooted.

    Can you link to the fix for this issue please?

    Where would I get a oneplus one or are they not worth it anymore, maybe there's something better for the same money or less?

    It's probably Google Now causing it. Try going to Google Settings > Search & Now > Voice > "OK Google" detection and turn that off. It fixed the issue for me.

    Looks promising alright!

    I hate when companies give release periods that span three months though, like Q1 2016.
    That could mean that it's 6 or 19 weeks away :D (or anywhere in between)

    Any more info MD? Like are any of them properly stable and stock? Im mostly interested in that Doze feature that extends the battery life...

    Might just wait for the official update now though and try that first...

    I was that close to going back to cm12. :-) I've cyanogenmod on it now, will wait to see whether they or exodus get a reliable M build out.

    After reading up I'm going to wait a few weeks also, just too many bugs and issues yet when what I have is lovely and stable. I'm not really missing much.

    OnePlus will still miss this deadline, assuming it is 30 March 2016

    Only got my OpO back after a two month hiatus / broken screen. With all the excitement of getting my phone back I updated the phone with whatever updates came up but now I am experiencing various issues.

    Phone signal keeps dropping / dies - sometimes does not come back at all

    WiFi has dropped a few times and hard to connect back up

    Has anyone experienced similar problems and how do I fix it?

    Phone is not rooted yet!!!!! (not sure how to do it but seriously thinking about it)

    Android Ver = 5.1.1
    Cyanogen OS = 12.1YOG4PAS3JL
    Kernal Ver = 3.4.67-cyanogenmod-g223b093
    build04@cyanogenmod #1

    Thank you

    Strange, sounds like they are abandoning Oxygen OS from that post.

    How do you figure that?

    CEX are still offering 244E cash for this phone if anyone is interested in upgrading.

    I would have said to try a factory reset but if your thinking of rooting then so that as it will factory reset after unlocking.

    I've used an app called bacon roottoolkit, it makes or quite ready once you've gone through driver setup

    The following fix works for me.
    Note: Every time you do a full update you will have to redo the fix, I don't know why they won't add it to the build.

    Using ES File Explorer and ES Note Editor as super user.

    Edit /system/build.prop. Change
    ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=fluence
    to
    ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=none

    Edit /system/etc/audio_platform_info.xml
    <device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="40" />
    to
    <device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="4" />
    Reboot. - It will not work till you reboot/restart your phone.

    Let us know how you get on.

    Yes I experienced this exact issue a couple of times after doing mine. You should replace the screens yourself, its easy after the first time. Just find a Youtube tutorial and follow it. Buy the full screen assembly that you just swap the battery and other guts over to, do not go down the heatgun/superglue route.

    As for your reception problem you need to pop the back off, undo all the screws (2 down the bottom are slightly different so segregate them), pop off the 2 covers top and bottom, unclip the battery and lift it out. View a tutorial on Youtube first to see the proper place to leverage the battery, its glued down so might need a bit of force.

    Now under the battery running along the right hand side of the case from the bottom to the top you will see the antenna, its about the thickness of a very thick headphone cable. It is clipped into the circuit board at the top on one end and the speaker board at the bottom on the other with delicate little connectors so dont yank it too hard. You need to reseat it so it is parallel to the battery not under the battery, if its underneath you get sh1tty reception. Try moving it a couple of times and rebooting the phone each time until you have good 4G back, then just put the covers back on and close it all up and you should be fine.

    If that doesn't work you need to unclip it on both ends, turn it upside down and clip it back in, use a tutorial for this, it sounds like a lot but its 20 minutes work max.

    Anyone know the criteria CEX use to give 244e for the phone? I have a couple of light scratches on mine (mainly on the back from my desk and a small one on the screen) as I took the case off after a few weeks as I found it too big. Also only have an EU plug - any idea what they would give me for it?

    Anyone know if there are any issues with using 4G on Meteor with the OPO? Thinking of moving to a sim only plan

    Yeah, it doesnt work, the band meteor uses for 4G isnt supported on the OPO, it will work on the OP2.

    That's strange. I've not had any issues using Meteor 4G on my OPO.

    CEX are giving €244 for the OPO? :eek:

    Hmmm, might have to think about this, there have been some seriously good looking phones in the Chinese thread lately...

    What band does Meteor use?

    I've seen different replies here like the above one says it does work and somebody else says different, hence why I asked the question :D

    Meteor/Eir Mobile use band 3 (in the cities) and band 20 (mostly outside cities).

    The OPO does not have band 20 reception so you will not get 4G in some locations but it will work fine in others (it is actually a very good network).

    Best bet is to road test a 4G meteor sim where you live, work and play.

    You need the box and accessories for the 244. Obviously, phone needs to be in good condition as well.
