Is there an easy way to back up your info after a factory reset? And I presume you have to re-download all apps are re-apply personal settings etc?

You can use bacon root toolkit to backup your phone. You don't need to root it to do so. I used it for messages/call history/apps etc and used google backup for my photos. Auto backup is definitely worth keeping on IMO.

    You tried the Oppo camera?

No. I just quickly googled it, looks like an effort is required to install it

Try camera fv-5 and see if that improved things for you.

Its not comparable to my d7100 but it does a job.

its really not, download all the filters you would use and the camera and its just like installing a few apps all in one go. install the camera first, then the subsequent filter you might use.
I found putting them all in a folder in dropbox was the easiest for me. I am glad I got it, its really class.

Takes 5 mins but is worth it. Oppo use the same Sony camera hardware in the Oppo Find so it's designed for it. Completely opens up the camera settings.

On your wallet by any chance? Check if you have nfc turned on, one of your cards may be setting it off.

Yeah it's mostly on my wallet alright, I'll turn nfc off and see if that works. Thanks

Since the update the profile option to disable swipe pattern/pin on the lock screen doesn't seem to be working for me :(

Did a factory restore yesterday and the battery seems much improved. At 75% now with it off charge since 10, whereas yesterday it was 45% at 2pm off charge since 8.

I haven't messed with any of the wakelocks yet either so that could be an option as well.

Edit: Does anybody know what Vodafone APN I should be on. There's two showing up now

    Live.Vodafone
    ISP.vodafone

    Thanks for the help.

    Live.vodafone

So was mine. I was abroad for 2 days and was charged over 100e for data usage because I was on the wrong APN. In fairness to Vodafone, they refunded it to me.

lol, thanks for your help mate.

On the off chance anyone has the same problem, going to "settings> security> clear credentials" fixed it.

They done that for me as well a few years ago but the girl on the phone said, if it happens again they will not refund me. But it was our fault(the user) for not setting up the apn correctly, what happened me was I never set it up and it just defaulted to the isp.vodafone setting, the same as that other user on here.

A few days on the update and everything is fine and dandy.

Looks like 5.0.2 broke some bluetooth locking I use with Pebble/disklocker but as you can do it withing the Android OS itself now anyway thats ok.
