Has gone up in price though, was £2.93 when I bought a few of them last year.

Great wee charger, especially for the larger batteries

In regards to "nightlies" - do they work like OTAs, in that all settings are kept etc.

I'm on 04/05/15 nightlie and yes you just flash a new one over the old on in TWRP, no need to wipe but I always wipe cache and dalvic after I flash the new version. But I done a clean install coming from 5.0.1 to 5.1

Once you're on them yes, they OTA update but you'll need to root and add another launcher to flash it so will need to wipe once.

The thing about OTA updates is if you keep updating you'll end up with bugs, guaranteed, it's always cleaner to wipe. I usually end up wiping every so often just to freshen but if you're rooted there is much better backup (Titanium backup)

The only way I managed to turn off vibrate was mute the sound and switch on priority.

Id pay the €400 or €450 for those specs but the quality needs to be increased. I hope they dont skimp on the touchscreen components.

Nothing in that article says confirmed to me. It will be confirmed when Oneplus announce it. The only thing that is even close to confirmed is the processor, and even that could change by the time it launches. Everything else is speculation.

I also make this mistake. Thankfully only woke up about 20 minutes late.

Really unhappy with the update. Phone is still slow/unresponsive scrolling at times. Need to re-root to get adblock back. Lack of a silent. Just a few annoying things!

Anyone using the Boxer email app which shipped with the CM 12.0 update?

I see there is a "Combined" option in settings but I can't seem to get it to display my three email accounts in a single inbox view. Am I missing something?

Set it to priority. Unless you configure it otherwise priority is the same as None with the exception of alarm.

I also have priority set for calls from certain contacts (in case of emergency).

Best phone I've ever owned, no problems, all the complaining on here would make you think otherwise though but people tend to only say things when its a complaint.

I'm running a CM12 based rom called exodus with no problems and I've installed the stock CM12s upgrade on the wife's and its running without any problems either.

I've had mine for approx a month and am loving it so far. Battery very good. Took off charge at 8 am this morning. Have used throughout the day and had screen on for 1 hr 45 mins and still have 75% battery - that's on mobile data. Typically get a whole days use with 5-6 hours screen on time over mobile data and eeked out 6 hrs 30 mins over a busy day of doing nothing at home on WiFi. If necessary I could easily squeeze 2 days battery out of a charge but I'm used to an overnight charge these days. Camera is good but not the best I've used. Screen is very nice. Overall I'd recommend the phone.

Just got the phone. Aside from finding it slightly too big (pocket real estate is now an issue) I do love it.

I was all set to buy the OnePlus One yesterday but in a turn of events, and all things considered (I don't need a very, very powerful device) -- I've eventually opted for the Huawei Ascend G7. About a €100 cheaper, and although an inferior device - it probably fulfills my needs!

Thanks for yer help regarding the OPO anyways lads!

    Hey everyone,

I'm considering buying a OnePlus One, I just have one or two questions..

Considering there are apparently so many on boards.ie with the phone, are you able to confirm it's LTE bands are compatible with those of our major carriers here in Ireland?
How does the screen compare to those of other mid-high range smartphones? Also, how scratch resistant/durable is it? Despite having a 'gorilla glass' screen i've learned this means little and less to smartphones under end up in a pocket with loose change..

    Cheers.

EDIT: Also, what are the repercussions of Cyanogen mod and OnePlus parting ways? What does this mean for the OnePlus one phone, if anything?

Mine did. Popped sim card in and worked straight away.

I cannot tell you about LTE as I don't live in a area with 4G.

The screen is good and it is like any phone as in it will get scratched if put in a pocket with change etc...

There are many custom ROM's available for the phone as well as Oxygen ROM and also 12s and then cm12 nightlies which I am on.

Got a really weird bug today with the Google Now launcher, the icon for the app drawer disappeared. After googling a way to get it back, there was none, I had to uninstall the app completely and reinstall to get it back. Strange thing is the phone kept the app settings and I didn't have to configure by screens again.

    Thank you for your reply.

Have you any experience with the official screen covers, either the tempered glass or standard?

I'll take a look at the different roms, again, thanks.

EDIT: Are all the issues being reported on the onelplusone subreddit confined to a minority of people? Because it seems the phone is a wreck.
