I know this is probably an incredibly silly question given that I've just read you have until Monday to accept. But can I log in at 6am to check what offers I get and then log out and not accept any until tomorrow evening? Or do you have to accept the first time you log in? I am prone to worrying alot :o
You have until Monday week to accept! :P

    AND WE KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Oh god, You cant be serious, where did you hear this????

The source of this rumour is supposedly from a person high up on the Galway arts faculty saying to a relative that you should be "safe" with 390 not it has "risen" to 390

I got 435 which was less than I was hoping for but architecture in ucc was 400 last year and the demand has gone up a good bit (12-15%)
I'm freaking out thinking it'll go over the 435 mark now ):

what time do papers usually be sent out to shops?

We were last waiting for offers in our house in 2011. That year, I bought a single edition of the Irish Times Digital Edition (around €2) & it had the first round points in a supplement. I think it's available from 2am onwards, though it might be in a later update that the supplement's included. It was worth it even to gain a couple of hours as we were having a sleepless anxious wait anyway! Best of luck!

Guys don't be treating rumours as gospel. They usually carry no truth! Until there is concrete evidence keep calm.

So who wants to help me rob a delivery truck?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,845 ✭✭✭Noccy_Mondy

Papers should start to be coming out around now. I know that on weeknights they do be out around this time, maybe a tad later. Please don't go looting all the papers*, I want mine in the morning.

*At least if ye do, leave the cost of it there! :P

Broadsheet.ie's newspaper front pages have blank sections, presumably for the CAO point change stories.

I'll be buying it, I'll post a scan on here, which course are you after?

  • Registered Users Posts: 286 ✭✭mossy95

So just after that scare from one of the posters that Arts is 380 in Galway even if it is Rumoured, I know I have a got place as its on my CAO in the Kilkenny Maynooth Arts campus as it says there is vacant spaces on the CAO site, so I am not too scared any more of not getting a place even though I really want Galway!

I'll be shamelessly waiting here for some kind person to upload scans.

Getting pretty nervous now about my first choice course. It was 385 last year and I got 410 but the intake was only 16, I assume that makes the minimum points more volatile and so I'm not very confident. Not as bad as the night before the results though.

Second choice is actually Arts in Galway, which I highly doubt will rise above 315, if at all.
