Decent win. our tactics were fairly basic, strong pick'n'drive, maul and a shotgun boot.

I genuinely laughed when American 11 fly hacked the ball into her teammate 5 yards in front, and the ref didn't even give accidental offside.
It was made more obvious by the offside player catching the ball.

Ok win. Very unlikely to make semi finals now without having got a bonus point but you never know and even if we don't make semi finals the women can still get a best ever finish for Ireland in world cup

After Ireland's 2nd pen the US restarted with 15 just kicking the ball in the air and Ireland knocked on.

Ball didn't get within a foot of the ground. A drop it was not. Ref staring right at her kicking it too.

Great start by Ireland. Could do with getting a score as they've been putting NZ under serious pressure and need to get something from that pressure

NZ definitely getting the luck but the Irish women have been going great!

Hopefully they can keep the head up after that one blip. They've been playing brilliantly so far

That's the difference between the 2 teams. NZ get a sniff of a chance they take it. Ireland just don't have the killer instinct

She didn't release in the tackle, after my complaining about the referee, that was well spotted.

Pity, because it was an excellent tackle, and great rob, but she needed to show the release better.

Great defence there! 1 down aint bad at HT. Ref has been very poor though.
