Reminds me of the student race day in limerick. Had 20 on the winner in the first. I was slow getting back to the betting ring, few friends had already been paid out my the same bookie. I had to wait a good while for him to pay out

That's a balls , after and I mean after Id have got the money I would have told him what's what. something along the lines of "easy to take it not so easy to pay out" and make sure anyone in earshot heard me.

What annoys me is, they have no problem taking a bet from me. If I go up to collect winnings then they ask me for ID.

Been a long long time since they asked me for I.d. :(

Its fun watching Rory amble around the PGA while the rest of the field hack left and right.

And double each and every one of them with McIlroy. Will not be beaten.

At Newmarket per chance? German themed race sponsors. Few Weiss biers. Few winners. Happy days. Then off to watch the PGA in the evening.

Yes my main bet if the day is indeed at Newmarket,in the solera, calypso beat.took 8\1.I was impressed of her battling qualities over 6f lto.not sure how good a race that was,but I liked her attitude.tough race today, but hopefully PJ will get her home.in the German themed race before that,I really like Rene Mathis, been knocking on the door recently, took the 3\1.

To have a bet today or not, that is thee question. I had a look at all the cards all! The way down to the bumper in kilbeggen. Nothing jumps off the page.

I have decided to take to the high seas. Paddle boarding. Then tuck into a hefty meal laced with as much red meat as I can find. Few beers and golf for the evening.

Went down to the bookies yesterday to do a bet and the plan was to come home and watch the race, nipped in next door to the pub for a quick one and said fuck it I'll watch the race, ended up down there all day, fell home about 10 pints later, thank god I didn't go out though! Hangover isn't that bad! :)

No apple crumble. Apple tarts? Made 6 of those, 5 loaves of bread, 2 ginger cakes, 2 pavlovas and 3 dozen buns.

Yeah i'll basically eat everything there.
    Do send cream and custard.

It is. That's how I make them. Not enough ingredients to bake anything else. Think I will make a shepherd's pie.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

    I love shepherds pie :)

    I am aroused now. lol
