Palestinians are the original descendants, who converted to various Religions of whoever was in charge at the time, and inter-married with them. They are very much the original inhabitants. There have been genetics tests taken that show as much.

Just because, the people changed there religion and inter-married, doesn't mean they lose the rights to there homes.

It is becoming more and more obvious as time goes on that the conflict is complete intractable - based on religion, politics, land and ethnicity but primarily upon religion.

The one state solution (Arab, Jews, Christians, Samaritans, Druze, Muslims etc sharing the region) is a non runner. The Muslims would simply start persecuting and slaughtering Jews, Christians, Samaritans and Druze when they gained political power and did away with democracy and established Sharia Law.

The two state solution is also a non-runner. Were the Israelis to withdraw to the 1967 borders there is no question that the West Bank would become a launch site for rockets and missiles and daily life would become impossible. Arab nations would join in and Israel would be destroyed.

So only two solutions remain - 1) remove all the Jews and give them territory in another part of the world where they can start again or 2) Arab Muslims should be taken in by neighboring nations and Israel can build a defensive line on the natural barrier of the Jordan Valley.

In the case of solution 1) Israel obviously has nuclear weapons and one of the most sophisticated and effective armies in the entire world with the support of the United States so obviously it is a non-runner.

The only other option available therefore is for Palestinian Arab Muslims who hate Israel to be removed from the West Bank and Gaza. They obviously hate Israel, they hate Jews and the hate living there so why not remove them and let them live in Muslim states far away from Jews?

Naturally this would involve considerable bloodshed but the alternative is an endless war between Israel and Palestine.

The fanatical and idiotic fanaticism of the Palestinians is the root cause of the conflict. There blind refusal to accept the existence of the State of Israel and there absurd genocidal dream of killing all the Jews has led to this impasse.

I cannot think of any other practical outcome except to give all of the territory between the sea and the Jordan to Israel and let the Palestinian Arab Muslims set up home elsewhere.

But the settlements are being expanded in the West Bank. When there are no rockets, there is still building. There was building before Hamas and its a safe bet there'd be building after them.
